Danizen Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 I don't know about you lot but I think this stuff is absolutely pointless. It started off as irrational dislike but listening to every cvnt say what a great idea it is and how it should have been implemented years ago makes me wonder if the world's gone crazy. The ref tells the players where to stand and unless he's blind, he can see if they encroach. The referee looks fvcking stupid while he's spraying. Especially when he can't draw a straight line or accidentally sprays a player's boot. Goal line technology. That's a long overdue innovation. This vanishing spray is just a stupid, pointless gimmick so that FIFA can pat themselves on the back for solving a problem that didn't exist. What do you guys think?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Seems a good idea which works. Your quibbles are trivial. You and your trivial quibbles.
MooseBreath Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Ref watching never worked. Vanishing spray works. End of.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 More useful to stopping attacking team moving the ball forward.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 With Fez, works for me, complaining about it is a bit Hipster
Itsthejoeker Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 With Fez, works for me, complaining about it is a bit Hipster Complaining about complaining people is way more hipster
Danizen Posted 17 June 2014 Author Posted 17 June 2014 All of you lot, as well! I feel like Will Smith in I,Robot.
Unabomber Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 I like it, it should be pink though so people don't get confused.
SomalianFox15 Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 I like the idea of it but it just seems a little pointless.
lgfualol Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 I don't see anything wrong with it. Wonder if we'll see it in fifa15
foxfanazer Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Think it's been very successful in all honesty. Don't understand the complaint
Vacamion Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Can the ref draw some forward pointing arrows, to help Jordan Henderson see which direction to pass it? If so, I am in favour.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 All of you lot, as well! I feel like Will Smith in I,Robot. Think it's more Truman in the Truman show personally.
BoneDog Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 We get to see many more close-up shots of snazzy boots so I'm all for it.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Think it's more Truman in the Truman show personally. When does anyone not feel like Truman in the Truman Show?

It's not FIFA's idea, they've used it in the Brazilian leagues for years.
theessexfox Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 I think there was a minor problem to be solved actually - walls creeping forward yards to disadvantage the free kick taker has always bugged me. Good idea.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Complaining about complaining people is way more hipster But I'm not complaining about complaining about it
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 When does anyone not feel like Truman in the Truman Show? Pretty confident I'd of been taken off air by now.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Pretty confident I'd of been taken off air by now. We all have our dull moments.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 We all have our dull moments. I'm on foxestalk having a debate about a man spraying glorified shaving foam on a football pitch. Only way I'm getting any viewers is if a re run of Iran Nigeria is on the other channel. Or possibly a documentary on Sergio Hellings' football career
Vacamion Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Given that the spray has not been sanctioned by the Premier League, it would be awesome if in City's first game next season, Howard Webb or whoever gets out a tin of 'King of Shaves', or whatever off his own back, and, having forgotten that it's gel not foam, leaves a blue line of goo on the pitch. No? Just me, then...
Buzzell Posted 17 June 2014 Posted 17 June 2014 Wonder if it works on women? The wench has been doing my head in these past few days.
