lgfualol Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 If I lived in Brazil I wouldn't leave for a few days. They are not going to take this well.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Germany fans have been asked to remain in the stadium for there own safety...It could go horribly tits up tonight. I hope for all concerned it doesn't
fazzyfox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Time for Fred's mum to tell him he isn't really Pele's son after all, but hey, the good news is he has the genes to be a bloody good milk man.
Dan Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 What the ****. What the actual ****. I'm actually speechless.
The Blur Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 In all my 37 years of watching football properly, I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this. It's been like a practice match in a World Cup semi final. For all those who said earlier it could be a close and drab affair... lol What I don't get is playing Maicon over Dani Alves.. Is Alves injured? I read somewhere that he was dropped.
lgfualol Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Players like Coutinho could have done well this world cup. The fact they took Fred and he started every game sums their effort up.
Donut Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Whats happened to Pato? is he not better than Fred and Jo SURELY?
fazzyfox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I hear the locals are going to be taking it out on the ITV beach side studio tomorrow night. Like a reenactment of the closing scene of The Wicker Man with Adrian Childs taking the Edward Woodward role.
fazzyfox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I wonder if that ITV theme guy is re-writing a slower version in a minor key right now "Braaaazil, they make you lose the f***in wiiiiiillllllll, as we take this bitter piiiiilllllll..just to watch them makes you iiiiilllllllll"
lcfc1994 Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Want: Holland to beat Argentina tommorow. Brasil to beat Argentina Holland to beat Germany
OzFox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Do Brazil seriously have to play the 3rd place playoff? Be funny if they play Argentina...and get whipped again As somebody said, that was footballing history. Never seen anything like it in a big game. They'll be concreting over the stadium after that
Dan Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Christ. They could yet lose to Argentina as well. You've seriously got to wonder what the consequences of this will be. I've enjoyed watching a team of over-rated twats getting their comeuppance but I really do hope something along the Escobar lines doesn't happen here. Credit to Germany though. Produced probably the best display I've ever seen. Their mentality is unmatched by any team. How on earth can you just pepper Brazil's goal with well worked move after well worked move in their own world cup? They're so cool it's beyond words. That five minutes has got to be the best in football history. It would actually be a shame if they didn't go on to win it from here I think.
MattGamble92 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 I honestly think the midfield were at fault for the scoreline. If you watch the main part of the game where it really fell apart, the germans realised the space was there in abundance once it got in that gap that usually Silva would be covering. This was exploited to the point where it kept becoming a 4 v 4 situation. The fact it wasnt stopped after the 2nd goal is poor coaching and poor leadership. Im actually a big fan of David Luiz as a technical footballer. On the ball hes very gifted. His position really has to become defensive midfield though because the fundemental things that you teach a defender like marking and positioning are non existent at times. He might get away with it in the French league but at this level he'll be found out. Although im not going to make a scapegoat out of him like many, just because he cost £50m. They were collectively all a shambles tonight
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Want: Holland to beat Argentina tommorow. Brasil to beat Argentina Holland to beat Germany ThisThis This
Banks Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 By a million miles for me. Other than finishing from five yards out Klose is a donkey IMO. Plus he has never been better than mediocre at club level either. Shearer played for Newcastle, Blackburn and Southampton. They're all mediocre...
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Hahahahahaha... Honestly the Brazilian football we are known to was gone in this tournament and they just ended up getting battered by a far superior side
MikeyT Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 I went to bed when it was still 5-0. I wake up to find the final score was 7-1. Unreal!
copunk Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 we never even made it out the group........ people in glass houses and all that
