Listening to Pearson when questioned about him, I don't see it as a Top signing.  Seems to me that Pearson wants this deal done to me and why the hell not, fantastic signing if we can pull it off.

Fair comment. Its not impatience for me, just the wasted energy spent trying to perhaps convince a guy that the club is the right mpve for him at this stage of his career.

One would like to think its not about money. But I cant help feeling that behind all the noble stuff we are being fed, sadly that really is what its all about.

I do though concede we cant believe all that we read. Lets hope it comes off.

If say for example Steven Gerrard, a year older than Cambiassi with twice the national caps should be put up for sale, how many top clubs around the world do you think would be vying for his signature.

So if Cambiassi is so good, why are lcfc the club that seems to be on his radar at an alleged 5m over a couple of yrs.

Do the majority of europe know more than us. Is he to prove a busted flush.

very atm. Some people will say he doesnt need the money. So why the wait to decide. He and his advisors must know a fair about us before discussions started so the delay can only be he is being touted about.

There are probably a lot of deals on the table for a guy of the pedigree, although by the sounds of it we seem to be the only Prem team genuinely interested.

 

It is frustrating that he hasn't shown a real desire to be here for the start of the season though as we have obviously offered him a deal some time ago and for whatever reason, it is taking time.

 

No one knows what is going on in the background though so it's all speculation.

 

Seems like Pearson wants this deal 'accelerated' next week so fingers crossed we can get this guy in before Chelsea or if not, move on to another CM target

not naive at all. I was under the impression fans and supporters of the club were cheesed off over the last couple of yrs at players sitting on fat contracts and " bleeding the club dry" All these players posters were moaning about all had it in common thatthey had no real affinity with the club and were in it for the best contract they could acheive from the club.

All I ask is why moan at them and then endorse a possibility that we could be had over again?,,Again I ask. Why are the vast majority of football brains in england. Lampard to man city etc or europe missing what we clearly see?

And why are we being targetted by the Cambiassos but not signing.
