Esteban Cambiasso

Are you naive enough to think players will sign for us because they 'want to be here'? Players sign for the following reasons. Playing in Europe, more money, chance of success. I don't give a shit whether he loves the club or not, he can develop a relationship (if any) once he's signed and experienced it. If he signs for us is because we've offered him a decent contract and he thinks we can stay up.

Cambiasso speaks highly of Hinckley,, he is was very impressed with the public toilets....he would of been even more impressed if they had been open, instead of having to  s h i t  on the floor behind the wall of the car park next door....think it might count against us..

Cambiasso can fook off, if he wanted to sign he would have done so by now.

I think you need to seek some help for mental illness, really!!

not naive at all. I was under the impression fans and supporters of the club were cheesed off over the last couple of yrs at players sitting on fat contracts and " bleeding the club dry" All these players posters were moaning about all had it in common thatthey had no real affinity with the club and were in it for the best contract they could acheive from the club.

All I ask is why moan at them and then endorse a possibility that we could be had over again?,,Again I ask. Why are the vast majority of football brains in england. Lampard to man city etc or europe missing what we clearly see?

And why are we being targetted by the Cambiassos but not signing.

Obviously we can't just lump the whole forum into one person. I think people who are saying that are being stupid if I'm honest. Like I've said, what do they even mean by "If he doesn't want to play for us then move on to someone else"? I'm not sure what they think is happening behind the scenes.

I know we ridicule them often but from what Stringer said yesterday following NP's interview, the impression I got was that he is still set to sign as most of the press started putting out there on Friday evening. The reason I believe this is due to the fact he said something along the lines of, 'We will definitely be discussing transfers I would have thought on Monday and thereafter...but, shush, don't say it too loudly as he (Nigel) is only talking to us and the local papers about this and other deals anymore'.

He, Tanner and others in the area know more than they are letting on I am sure.

Furthermore, after yesterday, Nigel will have been able to give a full and frank assessment of where we are against a top six club and address over the next two weeks which areas need strengthening. He, like me, will be incredibly proud of our club but he will now have some sort of yardstick to go on. Nothing like games to give you a true reflection.

Did I not tell you all that the journo who tweeted "done deal" was in no way credible....

The chief sports writer for the Daily Mail Martin Samuel tweeted it too.. Now I know that paper is somewhat rubbish with their transfer info but it's unlikely he would put his reputation on the line by getting involved in transfer speculation if it was not 100% confirmed. Something isn't right about this transfer... Just hope we do not put ourselves out to get him.

Do the majority of europe know more than us. Is he to prove a busted flush.

Has he not reportedly already said no to Sampdoria and Valencia as he wants to play in England.

That's a fake account

You seem so desperate to believe all these people. It'll happen when it happens, if it ever does.

Why though Babylon? I want someone to play that role, whoever it may be. It just struck me as an odd thing to say once the interview was over.

I sincerely feel that a holding/defensive midfielder is one of the things we missed yesterday. Everton broke quickly, far quicker than us, even though we played exceptionally well. Imagine if that were Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City. Not many teams can compete with those three, but to give us a fighting chance, that link between defence and the rest of the midfield is something I feel we've missed for a long time.

I know most of us want to believe them, I just mean I've seen you make a few posts defending people over what turned out to be false rumours. I think it's quite clear at this moment that there is nobody out there with much good info on this.

In that regard, I take your point and possibly yes, the idea of having someone of ilk makes you want to believe what you read. Irrespective of the events earlier in the week, which I think a good lot of us took as a lot more firm than we should have done, it just seems funny how a lot more journalists/trusted sources on the internet said the same thing within the space of a couple of hours, unless, indeed it turned out to be the Chinese Whispers effect - which it could have been.

Like you mate, and half of us, I just want us to sign SOMEONE soon haha.

I heard that conversation as more of a 'Nigel will be doing one interview next week and it is with us'.

As we all know Pearson views the press as more of an irritant than anything else, he prefers to spend his time working on football matters and I assume has therefore decided to tell all the press to **** off and let him get on with his job next week as he is busy having spent an inordinate amount of time this week doing press junkets.

Aside from a few wind up comments which I have made sparingly through this 110 page thread I would like to make a point.

Hammond made a massive difference yesterday. His experience (general not specifically top flight) allowed us to get some control of the midfield.

No offence to Hammond but Cambiasso is probably better. If we needed Hammond yesterday, then surely Cambiasso would be a very good signing.

With regards to a comment above by Robin about using the game to establish what we need to complete against a top 6 side, our difficult start to the season is a positive. We have Chelsea next weekend and Arsenal on transfer deadline day (is it the 31st or 1st September?) Granted Arsenal might be too late in the day but Chelsea also allows us to establish what we might need.

Surprise surprise, it was good old Col city, who the idiots on here ridiculed, and bullied.

Babylon and his "mafia" should be banned for their disgusting behaviour.

How about it Mark, or do you just look after your own?

Trossachs.

The only person bullying Col is Col.

I wish Col was gay, that would make you shut up.

Funny really... it's like I'm meant to be some kind of mind control expert, making people take the piss out of him for comments about Cattermole, without actually saying a word.

Agreed that Cambiaso would be an excellent signing but we do already have another midfielder in the squad that can control a midfield in Matty James.  He would have made a huge difference yesterday.

ITALY Where the Cuchu play?

Esteban Cambiasso eventually not signed with Leicester and continues to analyze offers from clubs in Europe and the United States.

After a good season at Inter Esteban Cambiasso analyzes several offers while training in Milan.

Inter player for 10 years, his career will surely Cambiasso outside Italy.Cuchu is considering proposals from several clubs in France, England and America. Although these days by some British media gave closed its connection to Leicester City, Cambiasso signed with the club in the Premiership.

Cuchu, who turns 34 on Monday and has the ball in his possession, is making a single season in Milan. The European transfer window closes on August 31 and it is very likely that the next week will give a definition in the race lefty who was born in American football terms, but he played professionally in Independiente, River, Real Madrid and Inter mentioned.

If he watched us yesterday, he might have been impressed we can compete with some of the bigger clubs. It may just sway him. My own thoughts are that he will either be a Leicester player by noon on Friday or we will have moved on to someone else.

One thing on Cambiasso, if we manage to bring him in this week, would you really chuck him in against Chelsea with no match fitness at all.

Hopefully Drinkwater's injury isn't serious, but if he is out I can see Hammond & King playing.

Can't see us getting two central midfielders, unless we are still thinking of selling Hammond.
