dayday Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Also Nugent is a backup squad player at best. Are you sure,I thought he should be a guarantee d starter, because he scores penalties.
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 lets play a proper top side again - fed up with losing to and dropping points against the sort of shite we've played recently- what a betrayal of our performance in the first 5 gamesYou mean established premier league sides, shocking! Barring Burnley
Stevosevic Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 People sound surprised. We're not that good.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Time to give Powell an opportunity I think.Mavis Powell the tea lady? . .
hebangsthedrums Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Are you sure,I thought he should be a guarantee d starter, because he scores penalties. In fairness he is a striker, so maybe thats why he looks clueless out wide and can't beat a man with a cross. its worrying Pearson thinks he can play out there as I've never seen any evidence of it.
Webbo Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Poor performance, maybe we deserved a draw but we never looked like winning it. None of the subs improved the team. On to Swansea who are a better team than these.
1993fox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Its been a terrible performance but lets not be daft about this. Newcastle are probably not as bad as their league position suggests theyve just had a rubbish start. We still have 9 points, well on the way to safety. Staying up this season is all that matters. 1 point from 3 very winnable games is absolutely unacceptable, so we can't keep harking back to our good start to the season and pretend to avoid some very serious problems.
surrifox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 You mean established premier league sides, shocking! Barring Burnley and palace and a winless NUFC with a dead man walking manager
matty98 Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 worrying times, 3 winnable games and we've gotten 1 point.
Mark Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Time to give Powell an opportunity I think. I'd like to see him in the Nugent role behind Vardy. That is our best formation which saw us promoted, and a better player behind Vards could be great.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Poor performance, maybe we deserved a draw but we never looked like winning it. None of the subs improved the team. On to Swansea who are a better team than these. So are Manchester United.
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 You mean established premier league sides, shocking! Barring Burnley 1 Season, I'd hardly call Palace established, and while Newcastle have been up here for a while, they've had an awful start to the season (until today they'd not taken the lead all season) and were points for the picking at the moment. We're doing our best to undo all our good work in those first 5 games.
