ScouseFox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 no vardy?! no nugent again. no mahrez but schlupp instead. albrighton exists. matty james in for hammond (at last).
theessexfox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky James Cambiasso Drinkwater Albrighton Ulloa Schlupp Interesting, Albrighton has his chance, no Vardy against this Newcastle defence?
ScouseFox Posted 18 October 2014 Author Posted 18 October 2014 Just 1up front or Schlupp as a striker? guessing 4-3-3/4-5-1 with albrighton and schlupp as wide men, ulloa on his tod. gonna be incredibly isolated imo.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Vardy on for the last 30 minutes will be terrifying for that back 4. Looking forward to seeing Albrighton getting a proper run out.
egg_fried_rice Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Understand Mahrez being left out but thought we'd have gone with Vardy's pace. Big chance for Albrighton.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Looking forward to seeing Albrighton sticking balls on Ulloa's head. Very strong midfield, bit of width, and Vardy on the bench (hopefully) to have a go at them later on. Solid line up.
Kitchandro Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 How on earth does Schlupp keep getting in the team?
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Wow wasn't expecting that at all! Good to see James back but no Vardy?
lcfcsnow Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 So the one thing we needed against Newcastle's defence was pace up front and we've gone with 1 big man striker without any.
teblin Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Stop moaning. At least wait until it doesn't work!
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 So the one thing we needed against Newcastle's defence was pace up front and we've gone with 1 big man striker without any.To be fair you'd moan whatever team we put out
theessexfox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Cabella only on the bench for them, Janmaat makes it. Good team on paper for them.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Classic Pearson. Either an unchanged side or a completely mental looking one. He's left our 2 most important attacking players on the bench! More often than not he's right. In we trust.
davieG Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 City: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, James, Albrighton, Schlupp, Moore, Cambiasso, Ulloa. Subs: Hamer, Hammond, Vardy, King, Knockaert, Wasilewski, Nugent.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 It makes sense. Everyone is looking at Newcastles weaknesses but the strength lies in wings. Having Albrighton over Vardy means you've got a player who will track back as well as deliver upfront

st albans fox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 looks like we expect them to play 4-4-2 and we are going to try and outnumber them in midfield. two wide men who will stay wide and perhaps deliver crosses into ulloas head although i wonder if thats their strength at the back.
lgfualol Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Decent team I suppose. Vardy would have been decent but he has been pretty poor last 2 games. I thought Knocky would be on instead of Albrighton though.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Shame I couldn't make it today.. Anyway, I feel Nugent should be one of the first names on that team sheet. His off the ball work is and has been very important for us. He connects the midfield to the attack. But overall, a decent team. Going for a 0-1 win COYB. ^^^ And what are you going on about, 'cancelled'?...haha
StanSP Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 So Mahrez probably did go to casino last night. But maybe he did know that he wasn't gonna play at all?
