peterborofox Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Want to do this but price is off putting. Defo doing Hull though
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Think you'll find it was £10 off match ticket.. nothing to do with coach travel? Got mixed up with what the deal was but that's just as bad. Why use it to try and encourage more people to go to a game at a stupid time on a Saturday just because numbers may be lower because it's on tv? Most people going to that match would have done so regardless as the fact it was on tv clearly didn't put them off. For a Saturday 3pm on a public holiday where the starting point is £45, £10 off the price would help a lot of people and could be the difference between them going or not.
lcfcfem Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Has anybody got a couple of references please. Dont think they will come down to my level
AndWhat? Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 45 for a 17 year old is a joke £45 for a 26 year old is a joke.

billyn88 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Unless you get one of the few £30 tickets at Leicester, you're looking at minimum £40 for many games so we're not much better sadly. Worst thing is if the away end stands you'll see nothing from the back.
Rob_Welsh85 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Not only is the price high the allocation seems low... Thought it would be have been 3,000
C-man Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 'Boycott the price, boycott the price... Anyone want my reference?' Basically sums up any chance of us ever being organised enough to put a stop to the spiralling cost of tickets.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 A boycott by our club would work and that's the whole idea, a boycott. An attempt at a boycott would likely fail, as like you say the demand is still there even at those prices. A boycott is something Liverpool would love, the whole point of the tickets in the away end being so expensive is so it can put off away fans attending sort of over pricing the away fans. It might sound daft but there are lot of clubs that flog off expensive tickets with small allocations another one that springs to mind is Leeds.
Maybes Posted 19 November 2014 Posted 19 November 2014 A boycott is something Liverpool would love, the whole point of the tickets in the away end being so expensive is so it can put off away fans attending sort of over pricing the away fans. It might sound daft but there are lot of clubs that flog off expensive tickets with small allocations another one that springs to mind is Leeds. Leeds. Hence why the away ends there season after season are sh!te. Unless a full boycott happens, then no one will ever give a fvck. Football without fans is nothing. Fans need to unite as one to drive the prices down. Sadly it won't happen (see C-Man's point above)
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 I've seen a lot of people sitting in the liverpool away end. Do you think the majority will sit or stand?
jash21 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 After one ticket for, this if anyone could sort me out then would really appreciate it
billyn88 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 I've seen a lot of people sitting in the liverpool away end. Do you think the majority will sit or stand? That's because that always make an announcement saying that some away fans cannot see because of standing. Most sit down after hearing that but obviously the likes of united don't do anything.
Foxes1 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Liverpool fans complained about ticket prices at Arsenal
Kegworthfox Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Can I use them please will buy you a beer or two? Pm me for details
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Liverpool fans complained about ticket prices at Arsenal It's not their fault their club is charging ridiculous prices. What did we charge Sheffield Wednesday last year on a Friday night? £35?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 22 November 2014 Posted 22 November 2014 At £47 I expect my seat to be warmed and to have some sort of foot warmer under my seat. ****ing hell
Dan Posted 22 November 2014 Author Posted 22 November 2014 Liverpool fans complained about ticket prices at Arsenal That to me sums up their protest. I fully respect it's catchy and hard to resist - but they're inside the away end, they've paid those prices. What sort of protest is that? They charged Man City £62 one year and I remember hearing Man City fans singing something like "£62, but we're still here". English fans are too disorganised to ever tackle something like that. Everyone goes their own way instead of a collective decision. In our first trip to Anfield in over 13 years it was always selling out. They probably could've got away with £55. That's because that always make an announcement saying that some away fans cannot see because of standing. Most sit down after hearing that but obviously the likes of united don't do anything. Any fanbase that sits at that has nothing about them at all.
glen parva fox Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 Hope we are charging them the same price but unlikely
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 I think we'll sit at this. That and the ticket prices have put me off. Football with little atmosphere and having to sit down after a long journey doesn't appeal me
SmithyFox12 Posted 23 November 2014 Posted 23 November 2014 If anyone isn't planning on going and is willing to give their customer number out then PM me please.
