His distribution was dreadful aswell although Mignolet's was probably even worse(I know Hamer's was shit at Stoke but Charlton fans say that's his best asset).

I've just got used to that now, it doesn't surprise me, it's normal. I did however complain about his distribution several time last year.

yes he should. i dont care if hamer punches everything away, we need a keeper who will come out to defend crosses rather than stand flat footed

Kasper will see his arse if he is dropped that's for sure. I'd be all for it and giving Hamer another chance - not that he did not take the first - as Kasper is making silly mistakes and his poor distribution can prove costly in tight games. But Kasper will probably hand in a transfer request if he loses his place in the team. He just doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who'd accept being number 2.

Then he get shown the door and we give hamer a chance, that sort of passion for the club is good but if jasper isn't a team player, he can **** off, cause he's not even proving he's worth a place anyway...

Wonder if Milan still want him?

Bye.

For what it's worth, I don't think Kasper should or will be dropped because:

1) The alternative isn't that much better

2) He's vice-captain and that makes it more unlikely for him to be dropped

3) Not every goal conceded has been his fault and at times it has been made out to be.

Yes... only because I actually think it will do him good. He is a good Goalkeeper, but his confidence, like most the starting eleven recently, is low. I think playing Hamer for 3-4 games would make him raise it a notch.

My only big negative with him, is he doesn't come for crosses...when he does, it isn't convincing.

Anyway, I still think he is a good keeper, he has won us a lot of points over the years, so lets not look for another scapegoat, but like every player in the squad, no-one should think they are a dead cert to start.

Voted NO only because I think Hamer won't be any better, Was dodgy against Stoke but did make a couple of goos saves late on. But right now not ready for prime time. I think we are stuck with Kasper for the next year.

It means a lot mate. All we can do is have an opinion :) agree on all points 2/3,

I don't think Hamer has been given much chance to really show us yet, poor pre season but he shone through against Stoke.

It's easy to scapegoat with keepers, at the end of the day if a player makes a mistake you've got another 10 that can pull you out of the fire, if the keeper does, you concede.

Just wouldn't want to see hamer end up as the next Logan!

Yeah, I think he finally needs dropping to give him a kick up the arris.

Bet Pearson don't do it though.

One of the most overrated players in Leicester's recent history. The worst keeper in the Premier, completely out of his depth.

Give Hamer a go.

lol give over

Name 5 players from the last 20 years who fans and media have overrated more than Kasper.

I must confess, I'm struggling here a bit..

Beckford?

I very much doubt he be dropped Saturday being vice captain and wes is suspended! He will start Sunday and be captain I think.

I think that's key. We can call for him to be dropped all we like. I just don't think Pearson will. I'm a gambling man. And would not have a wager on Pearson dropping Kasper. If fit, I'll be surprised if he don't play all season. Could be wrong but very much doubt it.

Jermaine Beckford

Michael Johnson

Sol Bamba

Gelson Fernandes

Neil Danns

Matt Mills

Chris Weale

Ian Hume

Richard Stearman

That's all from the last 10 years; the list goes on

Personally, I'd give him a few more chances. If his game hasn't improved until the end of December, I'd be more willing to see Hamer start again (for a while).

I've heard of some managers using rotation with their goalkeepers and sticking to it: The two best keepers would then usually swap places every second game.

I wonder if this approach would be realistic in the Premier League.

Never seen that happen in the Prem?
