BlueJoe Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 No, you didn't. One thing that can't be knocked is our style of play, which has been very good. If performances always meant points then we'd be comfortably mid table. Leicester aren't streetwise. We're the most naive team ever to play the Premier League. Cut the streetwise crap! We aren't creating enough goals... FULLSTOP!!! Poor excuses for a poor manager and poor team displays!

The league table does not lie. Your head is up your arse. Streetwise? bore off. Were shit. Comfortably midtable? youre on crack.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I've heard it all...Col that had me in stitchesI think the saying "the table never lies" is perhaps one for that person
Buzzell Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 How would people feel if he did manage to pull this off and save us from relegation? Would you still want him as manager or replace him?
Fox92 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Fans turned on Pearson and he knows it. Chants of "what a load of rubbish" and "you don't know what your doing were extremely loud were I was standing. He looked like a man who knew he didn't have long left at this club. That got the rounds too? Where I was stood the section sang "load of rubbish" and "Pearson, sort it out". That said, I stormed out after the second goal though part of me wanted to stay to see the reaction from some of the fans post match.
Dan Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 That's the problem. It's more likely a new manager to come in and still get us relegated. Yet in the championship Pearson is the best man to get us back up again. So we have a serious problem. The last thing we need is getting relegated with a new manager who wants to make a lot of changes in the summer. We all know this group of players can do well in the championship. I've just got this horrible feeling it'd go pear shaped even in the Championship under him now. I think the positivity surrounding the club is nothing but a memory. Bored of saying "I'd love him to prove me wrong". Nothing ever changes. We're gone and I don't think he could have any complaints if he is too. How would people feel if he did manage to pull this off and save us from relegation? Absolutely ****ing over the moon, but even if he did he'd need to seriously improve next season.
Donut Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 How would people feel if he did manage to pull this off and save us from relegation? Delighted. But i just cannot see how he can. To be honest, i cannot see how he can carry on in his job when he doesnt have the boards full support and the fanbase are turning. His position will eventually become untenable
Jogia Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Pearson needs to wake up! Make substitutions quick as possible! He should have taken off Schlupp for Albrighton and Mahrez wasn't even in the game! Stopp with the long ball nonsense players in acres of space but long ball it is! Nigel needs to sort this out!

I was in T2 and it was certainly doing the rounds in that area quite vocally aswell. I'll admit for the first time ever I booed today, not at the players but more aimed at pearson and his tactics.

While there has been a few games or spells where we have played decent football, there has also been a hell of a lot of games like today where we have been simply embarrassing.

It was painful to watch.

Donut Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 If a new manager was to come in, he would almost need a new back 4
Pearson Nigel Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Got my tickets for Everton...........first time I really am NOT looking forward to going.........if we do not press higher up the pitch we have had it! : ( Pleat Out!
Mike Oxlong Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Having sat on the fence for a long time today's team selection, tactics and inability to even do the basics to any sort of acceptable standard is the final straw for me We will not stay up The manager is responsible for his personnel, for tactics, formation, training and motivation. He is responsible for success and responsible for failure. Pearson and many in this team are damaged goods by virtue of their experience this season. They will not be the same players and manager that got us promoted. I haven't seen anything to suggest that next season we will finish above whichever two sides come down with us or a number of the improving championship sides who are now building and developing as we had done I haven't seen anything to suggest that Pearson has learnt and adapted as the season has progressed. We are getting worse rather than better. If we keep Pearson and he gets us up it is unlikely that he would then be given the boot. He will be given another crack at the Premiership, at least till the October / November period. If he falls short on recruitment again we will once again be only left with a January window in which to get out of jail. Another opportunity to establish ourselves as a top flight club and develop will likely be lost I would prefer to get someone in now to see what else could be achieved with this set of players and so to take stock ahead of the summer transfer window We need a manager who picks a side on form and ability, who can motivate and adapt, who sees performances that are sub standard for what they are and who is prepared to alter the coaching set up if it is failing week on week. We need a manager who has an alternative solution to working harder. Our manager looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He is incapable of obtaining sustained improvement. At this level he is comfortably a failure. I think it can be possible to go down with some pride but even that is being whittled away as the season progresses. Thanks for the memories Nigel. I don't doubt that you've done your best, that your decisions have been honest and that you've worked hard but it is no longer in the club's interests for you to continue to steer the ship Pearson out
CosbehFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 im 37 mate so i remember it well, seen us play some good games under taylor first season, beat liverpool leeds man city away.he was shite but pearson is worse 17 points in an easier league plus the win percentage stats support that pearson is the worst.nice try son.im probably older than youBeat Liverpool? Yeh we beat Man U. Beat Leeds? Yeh we took points off Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton. Beat Man City away? They were relegated that season. It's worry you are 37. You write such appalling atuff as 'I will take him out with a pea shooter'. Schoolboy humour.
cheshamfox17 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Perhaps a slightly left field choice but what about Mark Warburton at Brentford. He has done an excellent job there and is apparently going to get sacked at the end of the season
CosbehFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Man City away in a year they went down. He also lost at home to the bottom four, he was fvcking atrocious and overspent on tripe we had no hope of reselling for similar amounts. We lost to Man City side at home. Paulo Wanchope calling the shots up top.
Soar Fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Article from Nigel Pearson. "What a load of rubbish" must have been heard. http://www.foxsportsasia.com/football/fa-cup/news/detail/item9717035/Pearson-accepts-fan-frustrations
iamafox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 This time last week, some if not most on here were happy Pearson wasn't sacked. I bet you have your regrets now!

cheshamfox17 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 "17 points in an easier league" How is the league easier? The gap between the premier league and the championship has exploded, it's much much harder than it was 12 years ago when teams could go up and finish in mid table. The monetary differences between leagues has changed everything

hackneyfox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 If he managed to rebuild this fractured side and get us back up does anyone believe that we'd be able to sign better players than we have this time? Nobody would want to sign for us after this abject season.
