Hate the guy for when he said he was on the way to join Svens revolution on deadline day, only to sign for them. ****!

He was joining us on loan, but birmingham came in with a bid that was accepted so not the players fault.

And to be fair he did tweet an apology saying a permanant transfer was the priority. If Sven wasnt so obsessed with loans he probably would have signed.

Birmingham were in a division above at the time. And went on to win the League Cup that season.

They got relegated that season didnt they and at the time we were on the up.

He would have signed if we'd got in there earlier with a permanent move.

For a start he went to Birmingham. Thought he was always honest about his time with us, that it was just about getting him playing again.

Well if people are classing Curtis Davis as a "not a chance" signing, we really are ****ed.....

I agree, however I imagine people are saying that because he is captain his current club.

Sunderland and Leicester City have reportedly made contact with Hull City regarding the availability of their captain Curtis Davies.

The centre-back had been a regular in Steve Bruce's starting lineup following his 2013 arrival from Birmingham City, but he has recently lost his place in the side.

That has alerted Black Cats boss Gus Poyet and his Leicester counterpart Nigel Pearson, both of whom are keen to sign the 29-year-old during the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

The report added that Davies could be available for around £5m, but Bruce would not consider a loan deal.

It has been suggested that Bruce's supposed willingness to sell Davies may be down to the fact that he is eager to free up some funds to make new signings next month.

5m.....

SNAP THEIR HAND OFF, I'll even give them one of my legs

AND MAKE HIM CAPTAIN FFS, Wes is not a born leader.

Yep. Get him in. He was good for us and Birmingham and has been good for Hull. Defensive mistakes are costing us points. He and Upson could be the difference.

Am I the only one who thinks he's a bit overrated? He's certainly improved since his stint here but he's not going to solve our defensive problems, set pieces would be better but thats the only considerable improvement he'd make in my opinion.

i'm not sure, correct me if i'm wrong but didn't he make a few arrogant comments about our club a few years back, always thought him to be a dick head, I know i'm being really really picky here though but I wouldn't want it to effect the dressing room, especially as that's about all that seems to be positive at the moment.

I didn't think he was brilliant for us but I'm not surprised given he was managed by a prat. I think he's an upgrade on our current defenders.

A defence has to be looked at collectively rather than at an individual level, that's why some average players can be part of a good defence.
