GingerrrFox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Beginning to fall out favour at Hull, a move back to the Midlands and Hull aren't overly safe from the drop either. Could happen especially because of the Dawson signing.
HoustonFox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Would love it to happen. Thought he was class when he was here. It won't though as we all want him to join...
CloudFox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 A centre-back pairing of Davies and Morgan does feel a little more Premier League. Was really disappointed when he didn't end up joining us last time. Would Hull sell to us though?

GingerrrFox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Isnt he captain? Yeah but he's been dropped for the past few games for the Chester/Dawson combination. Apparently Bruce wants rid to open up space and funds for some buys in January.
lgfualol Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Yeah but he's been dropped for the past few games for the Chester/Dawson combination. Apparently Bruce wants rid to open up space and funds for some buys in January. Well sign him up. He can even score from corners
CloudFox Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 He can even score from corners Oh. Well we've got no chance then.
Babylon Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 I think he'd be what we needed at the minute, a far more relaxed player than Wes and Liam who are often too rash. Can't see Hull letting him go to us though.

Babylon Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 They surely cant still be harbouring a grudge towards us? Their chairman throws his toys out big time, look at the name change stuff. Although I meant more us being their direct competitor.
RowlattsFox Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 If hull don't want to sell to a competitor then they won't sell him. Davies won't drop down a league and the only prem clubs who will want him would be relegation rivals. His he left sided? Neither Morgan or Moore look comfortable on that.
LCFC FOX Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 They surely cant still be harbouring a grudge towards us? Didn't they reject like a 3million pound bid from us for Cameron Stewart and he's now crap in the champ. Same with Fryatt and Koren. Just because Pearson came to us.
Fox 4 Life Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 I can't see him choosing us over Sunderland personally but would be a good signing
MPH Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 I can't see him choosing us over Sunderland personally but would be a good signing Hes been here before... his family are based in the midlands too, i think...
davieG Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 I can't see him choosing us over Sunderland personally but would be a good signing Gus Poyet admits it is difficult to attract the type of players he wants to Sunderland. The Uruguyan, speaking ahead of the visit of high-flying West Ham on Saturday, acknowledged that geographical issues prevented him from signing the calibre of player he would like to the Stadium of Light. "When you give certain types of players the option of going to London or the north-east in the same conditions, 99 from 100 will choose London" Gus Poyet Poyet said: "When you give certain types of players the option of going to London or the north-east in the same conditions, 99 from 100 will choose London and that's the reality. "We have to be a step ahead - we have to do things better than those clubs in the south or in other countries in a nice place with different weather. "We need to do something that will convince them to come to the north. On top of that it is even more difficult in January because clubs don't want to lose their best players, so everything needs to come together."
reynard Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Well sign him up. He can even score from corners He'll need to be at the near post then.
ALC Fox Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Newcastle have always managed to attract good players. In fact Demba Ba moved away from London to go to the north-east. While his excuses are true to an extent, that's what they are. Never been to Sunderland though so I've no idea what it's like as a town. I do imagine it to be significantly less attractive than Newcastle though.

Morgan's the one we should be dropping -he's been woeful this season and I'm afraid to say just is't Prem quality.
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Morgan's the one we should be dropping -he's been woeful this season and I'm afraid to say just is't Prem quality. Not really, Morgan's been as erratic as almost everybody else in this team. Unproven at Premier League level, he's prone to silly mistakes just like the majority of this squad. If we want to stay in this division this season, we do need strengthening in all areas and add more Premier League experience. And Curtis Davies certainly fits that bill. Questions is: Will Hull let him leave and join a current immediate relegation candidate?
Jon the Hat Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Hull don't think they are in a relegation battle.
