TMELcfc Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 As the title says, am I the only one who, on a weekly basis, watches the highlights of the Man Utd game... Sad I know, but it is the last time I watched Match of the day... basically, I am clutching at 'positive' straws. Just wondering if anyone else has: 1. Watched the game back numerous times and 2. is wondering if there will be another game this side of 2015 where we can all watch MOTD again with a massive grin our face. For what it's worth (even though there are already posts for this) I still believe Pearson is the right man for the job, even if we go down. Just wonder why he tried to fix something that wasn't broken, with all the personnel and formation changes after this game. Anyway, here's to hoping lightning will strike twice for Manchester clubs here this year and I can watch MOTD again this Saturday. Be interesting to know with responses whether I am a minority and I need to find some excitement in my life elsewhere, or whether I am in fact one of many who have no other choice other than to get a winning 'fix' from watching the game back. Foxes Never Quit

TMELcfc Posted 12 December 2014 Author Posted 12 December 2014 I also do this Thank Christ, there is at least one more nutter... i watched it today to cheer me up And another one? I may have to cancel my therapy...
Unabomber Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 Yeah watch the bit when Cambiasso scores every night before I fall asleep, then the Vardy bit when I wake up. Makes my nightmares about getting relegated subside.
ScouseFox Posted 12 December 2014 Posted 12 December 2014 I still have the pic of cambiasso lying on the ground showing how bald his head is with that grin on his face after he's scored as my phone background (no homo)

Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 You may be the only one....BUT he is the one and only!!!
Livid Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Still have the Man Utd game on the planner. Watched it for a few weeks after but it's too painful now seeing how we have fallen. Às for MOTD I thought that finished in September.

Foxes Never Quit Watch that sky prog 'fall & rise of Leicester city'. NP says along the lines of, he doesn't agree with keeping things way they are always wants to try & improve. Which basically means he's a tinkerman. There lies the problem.
old koppite Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 No, as it hasn't sunk in what's happened since. This morning at 1am watched the programme on Sky catch up with SW, ME and IM talking about the O 'Neil years- brilliant- cheered me up no end.
Lasty Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I don't. The best way to keep the memory alive is to create more. Always move forward.
cityfanlee23 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Thank Christ, there is at least one more nutter... And another one? I may have to cancel my therapy... are you all watching it together this weekend then with a few beers and a curry? Haha I may join you
Guest MattP Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I haven't watched it for a few weeks but in the couple of weeks after I watched it 50 times.
Marie84 Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I also watch it back and glad I took the kids coz the stadium was electric that day it was buzzing. I just wish that it was like that more... Yes we are in a bad run but we should be like that every home game get behind the lads yesterday was better in terms of atmosphere but it's our home our fortress but we let the away fans drown us out! Guest ttfn Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 The noise just before Cambiasso scores is my favourite. Absolute fever pitch
Raj Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Watched it 20odd times in the week after. Seems now, like it was years ago!!!
cc_star Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Christ that Utd game has become our version of Forest's European Cup or Liverpool's title wins in the 80s Forget it. It was a freak result, Utd collapsed we won't come across such mentally weak opposition as that for a generation Utd themselves have kicked on and we're still thinking we can replicate it which is impossible unless our opposition roll over like Utd did that day! *edit* Sorry! Got the wrong idea of the thread, but anyway... Move on!
Raj Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 You mean...we won't score 5 in a game again.this season.....or 5 in total this season!!??
