His handling wasn't as good as Schmeichel's on today's evidence but I nearly fell off my seat when I saw a Leicester goalkeeper come and punch clear a cross that wasn't right on the goal line. Simpson 6 - Ok, probably a bit more solid than de Laet but not great on the ball. Wasyl 7 - Probably couldn't have dreamt of an easier game against Pozo, who (and I know he's only 18 or whatever) was crap. Morgan 7 - As above. Konchesky 7 - Thought he did really well. Pretty much a classic Konchesky performance. Cambiasso 6.5 - A few nice passes and some great interceptions but uncharacteristically sloppy in possession in the first half. Mahrez 7 - Brilliant first half, including one absolutely outrageous piece of skill inside the first 10 minutes. Drinkwater 7 - Thought he looked far more like his old self. King 6.5 - Did ok, flitted in and out of the game. Schlupp 6.5 - One of his better displays recently. Vardy 6.5 - Ran his nuts off, needs one to go in off his anus or something. subs: Ulloa 3 - Dreadful. Powell 4 - Less dreadful than Ulloa. Knockaert 6 - Did fine.

Glad he's back King 6 Steady but anonymous for large parts Mahrez 8 Obviously MOTM. Very good Schlupp 6 We needed to get him in the game more than we did Vardy 6 Felt sorry for him up there on his own. Decent first half Ulloa 4 Powell 6 Skilful Knocky 6.5 Did well

Wes 6 - If he gets dragged out wide he should flatten his man. Allowing the cross to come in was a little bit shit. Was 7 - Wont get an easier afternoon. Konch 7.5 - Good game. Looks very solid surprisingly. Schlupp 6 - When he ran at Sagna, he looked ok. Needed to do it more. Drinky 7 - Flashes of old. Glad to see him play like that. Cambiasso 7 - Would have been 8 if his corners werent so shit. Can anyone take them well? King 8 - He should be in the team all the time. Every game he's played this season he's looked good. Mahrez 6 - Loads of skill that finishes with him being a greedy bastard. Trying to beat 5 men at the end when we were in such a good position was criminal. Vardy 6 - Had such high hopes but he isnt good enough. Running around loads isnt going to get us safe. Subs:- Ulloa 5 - Not an impact sub at all, especially in that kind of game. Lost our threat in behind with him on. Powell 2 - Show pony that is not required. Send him back. Knocky 6 - Looked hungry and when he got it, quite composed. If we play this system at West Ham, I think he should take Schlupps place.

Konch 6 - He's somewhat reliable if unspectacular Morgan 6 - Rubbish with the football but defended relatively well Wasilevski 6 - Had a poor first half, probably our worst player on the day but not atrocious. Simpson 6 - I'm not sure he's definitely better than De Laet, about the same defensively and worse going forward. Schlupp 6 - Lacks an end product. Cambiasso 7 - Moves the ball quickly, almost caught Joe Hart out with a free kick. King 7 - Would really like to see him start more often, reliable and tireless. Drinkwater 7 - Similar to King, resulted in better possession stats for us than recent games. Mahrez 7 MotM - Causes problems although he can improve his final ball. Vardy 6 - Lively but lacks premiership class. Subs: Ulloa 6 - Not helped by the ref, worked a shot on goal that in another universe would have deflected in. Powell 6 - Didn't really get involved but shows potential. Knockeart 6 - Won us a free kick, didn't have a lot of time. Pearson 7 - Picked the right team and tactics. Man City - 7, thought they defended well but weren't at their best. Ref - 4, Worst ref we've had.

I agree, you must watch with blinkers on. He lost the ball for their goal and disappears for long periods.
theessexfox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 7s for everyone, N/As for the subs, 7 for NP and Man City and 5 for the officials. Hamer and defence looked solid. Midfield 3 all linked up well and had good spells. Wingers played well and beat men nicely, sometimes lacking end product. Vardy had some great touches to escape his man but wasn't clinical with the finish. Mangala, despite a clean sheet, looks nothing like a £32 million defender.

Beating 3 men is great but if all you do is try and beat another and lose it, or pass the ball to someone who has 2 men on them and not move for the return ball its all pretty pointless. People seem to want him to be amazing so much, they completely overlook his many flaws the worst of which is his greed. We had them pinned back with many options open right at the end and instead of picking one, he tried to skin 5 people, lost the ball and set up a counter attack for them.

Cause most of our fans do a lot of wanking when some one who can go on a little run but ultimately no end result comes along,same as knockaert who are both average at best.

Both did well but to suggest King had a better game than Mahrez is astonishing. I'd bet my life you could buy every single national newspaper tomorrow and Mahrez would have a higher rating. He was terrific again.
Clever Fox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I thought king was magnificent today winning headers and his first touch a delight to watch. He's clearly learning from Cambi in training. Mahrez and Vardy were kicked out of it and got no protection from the officials. it was great to see our GK Hamer coming off his line and his save at the post was as good as anything kasper done last week.
