Nalis Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Stick your appreciation for the big guy in here! Loving his quotes in this... http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30589052
Soar Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Really I don't find him funny at all. Although I can see why young boys do like him as he's a "LAD"
DennisNedry Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 'With due respect...' I wonder if him being born to two non-Swedes has anything to do with it?
Dan Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I love him me and it's genuinely more down to his football than personality. Though his arrogance rustles enough to jimmies to make it worthwhile so for that I applaud him.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Personally find his arrogance a little tiresome and I feel it's all for headlines and attention. Essentially football's answer to Morrissey.
Raj Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Find him tedious unfunny and arrogant. For him to think he's better than a legend like bjorn Borg?. Tw@t
Jordan Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 "With all due respect" to Zlatan, I can think of a list of top Swedish athletes where "1, 2, 3, 4, and 5" don't even include him. I could rank Borg #1 followed by Ingemar Stenmark, Niklas Lidstrom, Annika Sorenstam, Peter Forsberg, and then Zlatan, and there could not possibly be many complaints.
Brainy Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 The hate an Englishman would get from saying something similar

SystonFox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Freddie Ljungberg is a far better swede than he. Zlatan is a journeyman performing in a tinman league
Soar Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Freddie Ljungberg is a far better swede than he. Zlatan is a journeyman performing in a tinman league This. Henrik Larsson is the best striker to come out of Sweden.
Samilktray Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Henrik Larsson is not a better player than him.
Gary Eatfood Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Henrik Larsson is not a better player than him. I'd sooner have Larsson in my side.
Samilktray Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I'd sooner have Larsson in my side.I wouldn't blame you but he isnt a better footballer
Soar Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Henrik Larsson is not a better player than him. Ok then Sammy boy.
Nalis Posted 23 December 2014 Author Posted 23 December 2014 Bit ironic to praise Henrik Larsson but slate Zlatan for performing in a 'tinman league'...
Stadt Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 I like Zlatan but does anybody else think his goal against England was a bit overrated?
Guest MattP Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 I used to really like Zlatan when he was underrated a few years back - now he's turned into a bit of a cock with this hyped arrogance thing he seems to do on purpose for publicity. He needs to be honest here, he is nowhere near as much of a sporting legend as Bjorn Borg.
Nalis Posted 24 December 2014 Author Posted 24 December 2014 I like Zlatan but does anybody else think his goal against England was a bit overrated? This is one thing I agree on. For a start, it was a bloody open goal!
