sylofox Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 Not sure about spurs but do think we can get something from it. But I do think anyone traveling to Hull could be in for a treat. Hull fans will give Nige shite and would like to think the players will really respond to that. Nige has backed them and that game will be one they really need to respond to. Also they are all playing for there place now with jan only days away. Some wont even be in the full squad let alone the match squad.
chicagofox Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 So sacking the manager and causing unrest when there's every chance he can turn it around is what you're after then? Well I don't agree with the premise of your question, in that I do not believe there is every chance he can turn it around. But yes, sacking the manager is what I want.
Spicer Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 We kick started Newcastle's campaign. Would be nice to think Tottenham could start ours.

lestajigs Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 these nx two games are massive, I generall think this is make or break time
st albans fox Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 I'm confident that by 5pm on New Year's day we'll be sat on 19 points! nurse!
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 The main for me is getting the one result that will get Pearson through to January. This current squad won't keep us up but with some good business in January I think we can survive and I think Pearson and his team give us a good chance of finding the right players. How many points do we need pre-Jan for Pearson to still be here to make those signings though? My guess is that three points is a minimum requirement.
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 Hate to say this but one result either way could be massive in either direction , a win for leicester could put us back in the mix ready to take on hull and give us better chances at getting targets in jan, a loss against Spurs could see pearson lose his job , see us lose valuable time to get a manager and then he get the players he wants personally I hope we get the win pearson keeps his job and gets some real gems in January and proves doubters wrong
whitwickfox Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 One win in thirteen won't prove anything maybe 6/7 points out of the next nine will show we have turned the corner
Bristol fox .... Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 Well im optimistic as ive had a £10 leicester win double against spurs and hull
Merging Cultures Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 . Imagine we beat Spurs 3-0. I can't. Really can't.
Webbo Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 Well im optimistic as ive had a £10 leicester win double against spurs and hull
inckley fox Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 Somebody said before the Man City game that, if you look forward to the next eight games, eight points would be fine as an indication that we were starting to turn things around. With six of those games remaining, it's not unthinkable that a side which plays like we did against City, or Villa, or QPR, could pull out two wins and a couple of draws. But the work-rate will have to be a thousand times better than it was against West Ham. I'm still amazed that so many people feel we were matching them until their first goal. I thought we looked so far off the pace it was untrue. For me it all hinges on what's going on in Pearson's head right now. If it's 'how on earth have we been so unlucky, we're doing everything right, give it enough time it'll work out... after all I've shown I'm the master in the second tier etc.' then we're finished. If he's seriously looking at what he and his coaches have got wrong and how he fundamentally needs to change and improve as a manager then he has it within him to step up. These next two games are critical and three or four points could really be the making of the man.
