Let's say we beat Spurs 3-0.

Vardy wins a pen which Nuge scores.

Vardy scores from a counter attack.

Nuge knocks one in from a good passing performance.

It is a team performance and result of earlier this season and the majority of last season.

We would have our Leicester back.

Would people still be calling for Pearson's head? I don't see how because IF it did happen I would have the biggest ****ing smile on my face. We DO have that kind of performance in us I feel.

One great result and the entire mentality, optimism and atmosphere is reversed after 11 or 12 bad results is my point.

It would only be an indication of that if we followed it up with a positive result after it.

We're 6 points shy of safety, and following it up with defeat at Hull would render it as little more than window dressing.

Don't get me wrong 1 win is what we're looking for, I'd be happy but I think people are being very naive if they think 1 result will solve all our problems and everything will be rosy again.

IF (and that's a HUGE if) we win against Tottenham we'd need to follow it up, then we might be getting somewhere but we'd need results after that, obviously, goes without saying.

I can't see us getting 1 result any time soon let alone the 2, 3 or 4 that we need.

As I've said a win against Tottenham will be muchly welcomed and appreciated but it'll count for nothing if we don't follow up. One swallow does not make a summer.

People are still saying its kneejerk to want Pearson out after this particularly awful winless streak so one win certainly wont change peoples minds.

If they did beat Spurs and then follow it up with a win at Hull though, I think the optimism chart would reach ejaculation levels.

I think if we got those two wins in a row people optimism rising would be respected, no need to go ott, but to be abit happier and to have restored a little confidence back.

However I'm pretty sure we won't be getting 1 win let alone back to back wins, wish I didn't feel like that but I can only judge based on what I've seen and these players give me no reason to think otherwise. Prove me wrong lads, please prove me wrong.

I would hope people go over the top with a win. ****ing hell, we've suffered enough in the last three months of not winning, barely scoring and nearly always losing.

Go over the top as much as you like, guys.

Like after than Man Utd match?

Which I loved and did enjoy, but anyone want to hazard a guess of what I warned and got slated for?

Keeping feet on the ground and focusing on the more 'winnable' or games we should be competing and gaining points in during the following games. I could read the situation like a book.

Even if there was a minor miracle and we win the next two games we are still guaranteed to be somewhere in the bottom four.

Three wins will probably still have us there. We need a hell of a lot more than one win, and I worry when we get that one win the players will just lose concentration for the next game...

Yes I would still be calling for Pearson's head. I never ever understand when people say stuff like, "if manager x does not win the next game he should go". Basing your view on whether a manger should be sacked or not on one 90 mins is ridiculous.

I base my belief that Pearson should be replaced on the the body of evidence since the day we secured promotion. Whatever happens against Spurs will not alter my belief. Of course, if we went on a 5 game winning run or picked up 10 or 11 points out of the next 18 I am not belligerent enough nor to give Pearson credit and such a run may change my opinion.

The last thing I can remember seeing her in is Firefly/Serenity. At the risk of sounding all Quagmire, my, doesn't she look all grown up now.

We HAVE to pick some points up over the festive season there's no two ways about it, can't even think about it if we don't. Definitely don't think sacking NP is the answer, we need to stay as stable as possible.

We have been very stable and amazingly consistent post the Utd game. If you want that sort of stability to continue then fair enough but I don't.

So sacking the manager and causing unrest when there's every chance he can turn it around is what you're after then?
