Why isn't everyone slagging off

I did laugh when he had a perfectly simple backpass to Hamer and hooked it out of play for a throw in. Obviously scarred by last week.

Abysmal footballer. Get rid asap.

I loved the thirty minutes of chants from L1 about how shit we are. Followed by, at the end of the game, 'But when you're crying, you bring on the rain. So stop that sighing, be happy again' without a hint of irony.

If it were up to me they'd support the team or shut the **** up, but sadly it's not.

But I bet last week at West Ham you wanted him to boot it out?

Obviously it's going to scar him and play on his mind. It's only natural because he's human.

He's not an abysmal footballer lol. He made a mistake. Get over it.

I thought Konchesky did alright today for what it's worth!

He's played well most of the season. He's certainly not the first person I'd replace in our defence.

who would you replace instead of him?????

Everyone has been pretty much slagged off this season. Except Cambiasso actually, as far as I can remember. Even Mahrez..our only truly gifted little winger.

It's indicative of a failing side......blame, scapegoating...Schlupp, Drinkwater, Morgan (never thought I'd see that), RDL..just about all of em have been criticised for 'errors' or playing inconsistently, or some other bloody thing.

If we were a GOOD side, a winning side, the nature of football fans would be to accept these errors. They would be seen as 'a part of football' and 'being unlucky' etc etc.

Never ever have I seen just about the entire squad get it in the neck on here like they have. It's indicative of a poor side, at this level.

Not his worst game today but he was still poor. His distribution is shocking and he can't run. When he does bother to go out and engage a wide player he normally gets skinned.

Why we failed to buy a left back and a centre back in the summer is truly beyond me.

Did you watch a different match today?

What do you mean he can't run lol ? Did you miss the part where he covered across the line and stopped Bentaleb (?) from shooting? Or when he was helping Schlupp out down the left flank in our attacks?

He is steady. Not great but there are players that are struggling with this level more than him.

Not much in it, but I'd say him and De Laet have struggled more than any other players in the entire squad. Him more so. He's been awful

Yeah I missed him helping out the attacks, like Robbie bloody Carlos he was down that left flank.

Of course he can actually run, he's just very slow. And he can't pass.

I was at the same game and agree with you, he gave the ball away a few times but other than that was spot on the while game..

Okay, if you say so Mr Master of Left-Backs.

Every player gives the ball away in a match sometimes. Even the best. Thought Konch had a decent game on the whole. Not sure what the whole team could have done more today to get the win!

You are clueless he over lapped (as ever) and put a good few crosses in

Debatable, you do realize a right winger is usually one of the quickest players in a side dont you??

I agree with you, Drinkwater/James probably give the ball away more than him. I'm a fan of konch.

Our fans are embarassing actually. Many seem to take pleasure in us doing badly, and honestly, I think there's a lot of miserable people out there trying to pin their own problems on City - oh my marriage is going down the tubes because Pearson can't pick up 3 points on a Saturday. 'Supporters', the clue is in the name, no coincidence we do better when people are singing and making positive noise

Just before kick off he was continually driving passes out of play. Looked like he'd been told to practice sticking the ball over the touchline or maybe he was just showing the crowd what he was going to do this afternoon if he faced a choice of pass back or stick it out!

As for not taking our position seriously, what are we expected to do when our best finisher finds the post from four yards out. I'm afraid I just stuck my head in my hands and then had to laugh. Otherwise I'd has to cry. Bit like when we got corner after corner in the second period. what's the bloody point!

The Konchesky thing was a bit harsh but in general the players cannot complain they haven't had the backing of the fans. Many fanbases in England would have turned on the team and manager after this many matches without a win (quite a bit earlier in fact), in some countries they'd be lynched.

People are talking about how hard we worked today and how we deserved more but for the first 30 minutes we just jogged around putting in little to no effort, and the fans still didn't turn. Not saying we were loud, but the were no boos. The players are lucky to have fans this patient when the team has been so pathetic.

Koncheskey has been slagged off for years, absoloutly zero basis for it
