Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2014 Author Posted 26 December 2014 Does it matter Well yeah because we looked better with him in the side today and I'd imagine the Hull defence would rather mark Nugent than Vardy.
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Does it matter You've almost sounded like you want us to get relegated recently. "Don't even talk about survival, I don't want to hear it." I'm bored of it already.
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2014 Author Posted 26 December 2014 He's rubbish at this level so far. He's been a disappointment yeah. Like the majority. Still think he should be in the side though.

Harry - LCFC Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 What You appear to be one of those who thinks we're already down. I get the impression this is just a continuation of the doom and gloom mentality. Why care if a player's suspended if we're already down after all.

ADK Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 He's been a disappointment yeah. Like the majority. Still think he should be in the side though. I'd have him in the squad for sure, but Nugent has been better the last 2 games, we probably ideally need a replacement though.
Captain... Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Stupid booking and stupid foul on what was always going to be goalie's ball, totally killed all momentum and any chance for a Christmas miracle, some players need to realise we are playing in the Prem now and step up or expect to be on the sidelines, hope Vardy is thinking about that challenge whilst sitting in the stands next game.
One Legged Beaver Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Personally think we look a lot worse with him in the side at the moment. Can't fault his commitment but his quality has fallen way short so far unfortunately.
Guest ttfn Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 What an absolute retard. 2 games in 3 days and our most mobile striker, fully rested, gets a moronic booking 2 minutes from full time. They should fine him a week's wages for that, it's absolutely criminal at this time of year with a massive game coming up.

(he got injured after about 20 mins of it anyway ). his discipline is rubbish. rarely ever loses his head and gets sent off but there's "putting yourself about" and then there's just fouling people. daft.

The fouls he commits seem to be the kind of ones he'd get away with in the lower leagues. He hasn't learnt that you can't do it at this level. I also think we're paying for his dive against Man U. He deserved a pen today, not for the first time since Man U. His reputation proceeds him
Sharpe's Fox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 He couldn't finish his dinner at the moment, and atm Ulloa is a better leading man and Nuge is a better link up player. However, like Gandalf said of Gollum, I think he still has a part to play in the story of this season.

His reputation proceeds him yeah very valid first point. in the conference, even in the championship if you're away at barnsley or something and vardy leaves one on a defender making a clearance he gets up and tries to give him one back later (no homo). in this league vardy has a go at some poncey argentine defender who's better at diving than raheem sterling and a ref will inevitably book him because the defender will be screaming on the deck for 3 or 4 minutes. possibly true on the second call, too. there's been two or three where you'd expect by the law of averages you'd get one but he's not even had a look in.
Tuna Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Good. He's so far out of his depth its unbelievable.
Dickov22 Posted 27 December 2014 Author Posted 27 December 2014 Good. He's so far out of his depth its unbelievable. Apart from when he skinned Vertonghen who is supposedly Spurs' best defender and got brought down for a pen that the ref missed. Yeah, good job he's suspended. Wood, Nugent et al are way more dangerous
chicagofox Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 I like Vardy but he found his level last season. And I don't know if he'll have as good a season again ever, even in the Championship. At Premier League level he will be absolutely no loss.
Dr The Singh Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Unless he plays in the centre, he is ineffective
