Asha Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Yeah it was a fair whack and it went flying. Obviously I'm just speculating but it's hard to imagine how he'll survive that, driving at that speed and taking a hit on the head is surely just gonna take you clean out. Shades of Henry Surtees I guess.

They're bunched up on an oval circuit doing speeds of 220-230 mph. That's nearly jetliner takeoff speed. So there's really nothing they can do save covering the cockpit or just banning ovals all together. The Americans seem to take a 'shit happens' approach to safety. RIP Justin.

That definitely wasn't one of his best drives. Could have picked anything from the last couple of dominating years where he's been by far the best man out there rather than a Toyota fvcking up in changeable conditions seven years ago.

The crazy Danes from last year were replaced by the mad Max army from Holland. It was a great weekend.

iamafox Posted 4 September 2015 Author Posted 4 September 2015 Not F1 related but I felt sorry for JPM last weekend, can't believe IndyCar introduced the double points rule for the last race and Scott Dixon won the championship by winning one more race than Montoya throughout the whole season despite equaling his points tally. Worst of all, Dixon was 47 points behind Montoya in the standings prior to the finale.
