Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Think Rosberg ****ed it up personally That was my thought. Rosberg cut in a bit early, without having full passed Ricciardo IMO.
Raj Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Think Rosberg ****ed it up personallyBit of both?Ricky tried for a mad pass!!! This race is better than most all season. Thanks BBC!!!
Amin Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Stupid move from Dan followed by a lack of spacial awareness from Rosberg. This has somehow turned around to be a good result for Hamilton.
foxfanazer Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Bit of both? Ricky tried for a mad pass!!! This race is better than most all season. Thanks BBC!!! MaybeBest race I've seen in ages!
Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Crazy that Hamilton has ended up extending his lead over Rosberg after all that!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Best race for ages, that was exciting the whole way through ... brilliant
Raj Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Crazy that Hamilton has ended up extending his lead over Rosberg after all that! Stupid race but great viewing for change!!!No hard feelings facey, still can't stand that gangsta Lewis though!!! ...right I'm off for a nip!!
Amin Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Happy for Vettel, devastated for Raikkonen. I'll be at Spa, so it would be perfect if Kimi can hit back with a win next time out.
foxfanazer Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Only he could race like that and still come out of it better off
StanSP Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Brilliant race to watch. How many penalties did Maldonado get?! Lotus F1's Twitter is quite amusing.
StanSP Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Also, not to take anything away from Kvyat cos I'm happy he got his podium. But I thought there was a notice that he would get a 10 second penalty? Did he actually receive this but there was enough time between him and 3rd anyway so it didn't matter?

StanSP Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Yeah, there was more than 10 seconds between him and Dan.Cheers. When was the last time Mercedes didn't finish in a podium position?
Amin Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Cheers. When was the last time Mercedes didn't finish in a podium position? Brazil 2013 I think.
iamafox Posted 26 July 2015 Author Posted 26 July 2015 The drivers put on a great race for Jules and I'm sure he would have been proud of that.
Asha Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 A stunning race, one of my favourite of all time. So much excitement! Seb was incredible, always looked in control. Faultless. Think we saw the Lewis of 2011 again today. Made a poor start and then kind of lost his head a bit on the first lap. Some really bad decisions today but he still deserves some credit for fighting back to 6th. Got a bit lucky that Rosberg made a mistake against Ricciardo too but that's still a decent job of damage limitation. These are the kind of days he seemed to have ironed out in recent years but it was just a bad one. Mercedes need to sort out their starts for their own sake because it's making life difficult for them. Great for the races though! And Facecloth, put your tampon back in mate, Lewis wasn't great today and you're trying way too hard to rim his arsehole and cry about the criticism, it's boring. Really happy for Kvyat. Obviously fortunate with all the incidents but he's done well the last few races and that's a cracking result for him. Maldonado Ban the guy, man. He received a penalty for pretty much everything today, what an absolute fraud. Great day for McLaren too, a nice little points haul. It was quite interesting (and rare) to see all of the top five going crazy and punching the air when crossing the line
Raj Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Is it true Maldonado only gets a drive cos of all the £££ he brings to the team through his sponsorship deals? He is a jackass driver

When have I said he was great, or that he didn't have a bad day. I just pointed out the fact he's not the arrogant cry baby some of you lot make him out to be. People erroneously judging people by how they were as youngster is what's boring.
Raj Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Facey-Lewis is a cock who thinks he's as gangsta.Stop fighting it man!!!
Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Facey-Lewis is a cock who thinks he's as gangsta.Stop fighting it man!!! fair enough he does think he's a gangsta and if that bothers you fine. But he's not arrogant or a cry baby, and that's what I'm defending him on
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Rosberg deserved what he got there. What goes around, comes around. Maldonado is a numpty, how is this guy in F1? His collision on turn one was deserved of a penalty although I thought it harsh on Hamilton for an identical outcome. Considering the turn of events leading up to that collision, it was unavoidable imo. On cooler tyres, he had nowhere to go and under steered straight into Ricciardo. No causing a collision for me, just a racing incident. Decent race. On to the next.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 lmao, all the luck Hamilton got and he still finished 6th. Absolutely gutted for Rosberg though ffs, horrendous strategy by the mercedes lads.
Raj Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Hes ABIT of a cry baby and arrogant you have to admit Facey...BUT most sports people at the high end are aren't they that's why they DO it..and we WATCH!!
Asha Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 lmao, all the luck Hamilton got and he still finished 6th. Absolutely gutted for Rosberg though ffs, horrendous strategy by the mercedes lads. Very strange strategy, although Rosberg was requesting to stay on the primes. Rosberg should have surely had enough pace to clear Vettel after the safety car anyway, you have to feel that if it was Lewis in that situation he would have made a move.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 What I really struggle with with the Merc drivers is working out who I dislike less.
