From what I've experienced, if your views sometimes differ from the mainstream, you are immediately chastised. If you reinforce them (usually on the back of being chastised ie. Giving a response to someone who's taken the piss), you are chastised further. Then if you don't back down, you are branded 'a troublemaker', or 'negative' or a 'hater'. It's a bit like being back at school. And it seems to happen if you are perceived as being 'critical' of some aspect of the club, it's management or the players. A bit like being considered 'disloyal' or not a true fan if you do this. Regarding having threads deleted, I've never suffered that. But I have had posts deleted. My issue with that has been that certain other posts, IMO far more provocative have stayed.. And I've very rarely been offered any sort of answer as to why that is.

I stated that I considered that Cattermole, or a Cattermole type player, would be more beneficial to our plight than would Cambiasso. I also said wait and see how Cambiasso would be. Whether he was still great or not. Great example, reticent though I am to bring it up again..but again...(see the theme?), I'm responding to someone who has.

I'm not complaining but it does seem odd.

He didn't go there because Chelsea didn't make another offer, therefore Chelsea never had an offer accepted. That's the only reason he's here and not there. The Croatian posters pretty much confirmed as much.

What did you expect?I didn't say he was going to sign for Chelsea, I said he was in communication with Chelsea and if they had an offer accepted he would go there. They never had an offer accepted as confirmed by our reliable Croatian friends. Nothing unreasonable about that imo. I did also explain my source but that might have been deleted before you saw it. This is exactly what Col is talking about. You post reasonable stuff and then other posters hound the referee until you get sent off.

Turned out to be wrong. About 98% of the things people hear and post in the transfer section also turn out to be wrong. That's the nature of rumours is it not? That's the whole reason for that section of the forum existing am I wrong?
