Bobby Hundreds Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 Catch Finchy!! On a side note it really annoys me how batsman friendly limited overs cricket is, it's killing the art of bowling and bowler development.

Red ball cricket will continue to slowly die outside of Aus, India.... Not even sure I can include here now.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 We have the knack of finding the fielder, even when we play with intent it goes straight into the hands of a fielder. Australia are so good at the moment, better in all aspects.

Bobby Hundreds Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 I wonder whether KP is enjoying the game. He was droning on about the unbelievable decision to drop Bopara. The guy is such a dick.

Can't see red ball cricket dying here, ticket sales are still exceptional for the prices they charge. It's certainly dying in India and the Caribbean though. Bell didn't execute the shot but i can see why he took it on, one fielder out there in a huge area. Frustrating watching this now as it looks fairly easy to score when in against an old ball. Bobby Hundreds Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 At least we've avoided having the largest World Cup loss by a non-associate team next to our name.

cambridgefox Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 I get all excited about the WC and then England start just how I expected them to and not hoped. Morgan 4 ducks in 5 innings,I honestly think I could better that.
leicsmac Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 All out for under 150 anyone? No, now actually thinking about it this England team like to give us a hope spot so there'll probably be a reasonable partnership soon to push us past 200 before another collapse finishes us off. Should have put money on it.

The People's Hero Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 I know it's a bit irrelevant but can anyone offer an explanation as to why Finm bats above Anderson? I'm pretty sure Anderson wants XI. In truth, both are natural XIs.

Guest MattP Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 I'm pretty sure Anderson wants XI. In truth, both are natural XIs. Maybe. I don't think he should be there though below Finn. Jimmy at least has some sort of technique and has made the odd score, Finn looks like our version of Chris Martin.

leicsmac Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 Taylor the one positive from this. Scored at a quick clip but zero support. At least with the format of this tournament this defeat and the likely one against NZ won't mean much, apart from having to fetch up against an in form team in the QF. SMX11 Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 Why is Titch not batting at three? Gives him the best opportunity to do these sort of innings.

Made lots of runs at three which isn't the England way so moved to 6. They also seem to think currently ballance has to bat at 3 if he plays ( who conversely would probably benefit from being at 6 ) In short. Who knows ? Bobby Hundreds Posted 14 February 2015 Share Posted 14 February 2015 It has but that was some ball he got first up today ! It was a good ball but he must have known it was coming, he is incredibly susceptible to the yorker. I've seen smaller gates at Buckingham Palace.
