5waller5 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Whether He's sacked or not our club should have come out and spoken immediately. It's been on the home page of every national paper and on Sky Sports .... and yet no statement from the club either way. Our PR is appalling either way.
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 LCFC is bad at pr and website things shock horror in other news man lands on moon.
5waller5 Posted 8 February 2015 Author Posted 8 February 2015 "We're sorry that the press are all *****". No apology. Just "despite rumours to the contrary were are delighted to say that NP is our manager"
themotivator Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 maybe its cus its a sunday night and nobody is at work
ADK Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 What time is it in Thailand? I'd imagine this sort of thing would need the involvement of our owners?
Raj Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Its their day off!!!! Why should they answer speculation? I Dont get it all this.
Tielemans63 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Why should they comment on speculation of it isn't true? Plus I'm pretty sure it's been on Sky Sports and nowhere else. Certainly not in the 'home page of every national newspaper' - far from it.
5waller5 Posted 8 February 2015 Author Posted 8 February 2015 Its their day off!!!! Why should they answer speculation? I Dont get it all this. They run a business that turns over several hundred million Pounds. I think this requires attention even on a day off.

As I said in another thread it's not that easy. You have owners in other counties, Pesrson often talks about turning his phone off. It's Sunday night with people all over the place and potentially not able to take a call. You be needing 5/6 people all involved to clarify it, run it past solicitors, get the statement written up and then published etc.

Spicer Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I think it is funnier if they say nothing and all news teams looks like twats. I haven't seen the story on the BBC so they seem to be one of the few that have kept egg off their face.

Aeropars Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Stop being utterly twattish. Unless something is face the club have no obligation to announce anything. If I was contacted, probably on call, about here say on a Sunday night, I would have had a "**** off and die" moment. Get a god damn grip.

Certainly not in the 'home page of every national newspaper' - far from it. It was in the Guardian and Mirror, it's been pulled from the Times and Sun .... And if they haven't had him in to sack him then it's a simple rebuttal??

It's just a discussion, no need to get your panties all wet.
5waller5 Posted 8 February 2015 Author Posted 8 February 2015 its Fuoking speculation on SSN for fooksake!!! The people that pay £100m a year to the club and inform pretty much every fan of what's going on int he premier league???? This is an important story, whether it's true or not and the PR machine at LCFC should be in action.
Killiefox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Rob Dorset on sky sports news now confirming Pearson has not been sacked
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 It was in the Guardian and Mirror, it's been pulled from the Times and Sun .... Surely once they call him in for a meeting to sack him then that's already in place and done. And if they haven't had him in to sack him then it's a simple rebuttal?? If you are Andrew Neville you'd need to check with SW, she would need to check with Top and Vichai to make sure no call has been made without their knowledge. They would then call Nige and say its crap you have our support, then get the solicitor on the blower, get them to type something up, get that approved up the chain of command and them drag the media guy away from his roast to put it on line.
