Claridge Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 The Thais are getting worried about the negative publicity Pearson is bringing on the club according to radio reports in Thailand.got a friend working over there who says it was on a report in Bangkok. Whatever you think of Pearson he needs to watch what he,s doing as he has behaved like a bit of a cock lately.
GaelicFox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Come on its pressure and really it's not been too bad, we need to cut him some slack guys really we do and I'm not a "pearsonite"
lgfualol Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Being last isn't too good for publicity. At least we won the king power trophy in August.
stingray Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 all over the daily mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2945718/Nigel-Pearson-Leicester-City-press-conference-LIVE-Foxes-boss-speaks-sack-claims-James-McArthur-incident.html
Claridge Posted 9 February 2015 Author Posted 9 February 2015 Come on its pressure and really it's not been too bad, we need to cut him some slack guys really we do and I'm not a "pearsonite" Yes I would acknowledge the pressure but if the Thais decide it's not worth the publicity and leave with the prem money, then we probably won,t have a club. I like Pearson but would support the owners first as without them were in big trouble
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Don't give a shit about some Toblerone floggers in a country where they instilled martial law a few months ago. Nigel is here to make the club successful not to be a face on a billboard covered with moonrunes.
yorkie1999 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 And, if by some miracle, we beat arsenal tomorrow, this will all change.

Oh yes that is the Club managed by that loony who grapples with players on the touch line.

Oh yes that is the Club managed by that loony who grapples with players on the touch line. Thai's like their MMA fighting or whatever that event was they tried to hold at the KP a few years ago - so maybe the Thai people will treat NP as some sort of hero for his grapple with Mccarthur
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Lucky for you that Mandric is without a club again. I'm sure you'd like him back? Of course not, all I'm saying is that with all that has happened in the last weekend the commercial interests of the foreigners who happen to own the club in a country half a world away should be the last thing Leicester City fans should give a fig about.
Nalis Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Come on its pressure and really it's not been too bad, we need to cut him some slack guys really we do and I'm not a "pearsonite" Sorry dude but I'm the opposite. I like Pearson and am glad he's stayed but he's been a bit of a dick this season. If someone like Dyche had done some of the stuff Pearson has he would have be slaughtered on here. A blind eye could be turned if results were going our way but they aren't.
davieG Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Well if they sacked and then re instated him I'd say they were yhe ones bringing the club/brand negative publicity this whole touchline escapade would have disappeared from the media headlines by now as they would have found some other target to vilify.

If NP is the best brand ambassador they've got I'm amazed they're as rich as they are.

But it's those commercial interests that enabled the owners to write off our debt which means if/when we get relegated, we don't have to sell our decent players. It's all related. It's a business! It's not like it used to be. If we are happy in league 1 and the championship then that's fine but those who want to sit at the top table need recognise it can only be achieved as a business nowadays.
Guest MattP Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 They should be kissing Pearson's feet, without him we'd probably still be half way up the Championship with the 90mil Sven debt doubled. Do City fans really give a shit about King Power? I certainly don't.

Not true, what if they decide it's all too much grief and leave.

There could have been no LCFC.
yorkie1999 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Not true, what if they decide it's all too much grief and leave. Then we'll have a debt free club owned by someone else.

There could have been no LCFC.How do you work out they saved us? We had just finished in the play offs and were running at a small loss when they arrived. Without NP they might have already wound us up given the money jizzed up the wall under Sven and Sousa.
MooseBreath Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 If they wanted a squeaky clean image then perhaps investing in a football club wasn't the right thing for them. That said I think they had a right not to expect the kind of nonsense we saw from Pearson on Saturday. I'm not particularly concerned about the king power brand, but without these owners we'd probably be struggling towards the bottom of the championship or even doing a Coventry. Bit sickening to see so many people crawling out of the woodwork with a stick ready to beat the owners when once again they haven't actually sacked Pearson. I guess racism can only be held down for so long with some people.

With Pearson in charge I don't see why that would be, he was here for two seasons when we didn't have a pot to piss in and we won League One and finished in the Championship play offs.
Voll Blau Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Fvcking hell the way some people go on about the Thais. I'd rather we were playing in the Conference than be held to ransom by some bloke who was given our club as a stocking filler if it came to it (heaven forbid it does).
