EnderbyFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 His Twitter picture looks a lot like a mugshot
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Oh not this guy again, remember last time he tried this?!

Pearson Nigel Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Who the **** is Barrie Pierpoint? How depressing your obviously far young!!!!
Guest Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 The Gang of Four. There's a blast from the past.
Donut Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Who the **** is Barrie Pierpoint? An ex Chief Executive and bellend, who at the time tried to force the Chairman out of the club and himself onto the board along with his crony mates (the "Gang Of Four"), and in the process almost forced O'Neill out of the club.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 An ex Chief Executive and bellend, who at the time tried to force the Chairman out of the club and himself onto the board along with his crony mates (the "Gang Of Four"), and in the process almost forced O'Neill out of the club. O'Neil supported the John Elsom (worlds loudest eater) camp and said basically if you support the gang of four he's off. He left for Celtic shortly after ! Elsom left to live near Bridlington and become a director of Grimsby Town and let it known they 'were always his team. Not too far down the line Leicester went skint. Out of the gang of four 2-3 of them went bust (Inc Kinch) as not helped as they'd committed so much to the take over cause. Barrie Pierpoint took the commercial and back room set up from the dark ages albeit he was a control freak (Complained about the players club mobile calls so O'Neil dumped all of the phones on his desk) The gang of four were all local business men with the club at heart, as we went bust its difficult to see how they could of done worse. Seems successful in what he does now.
davieG Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Wasn't it Elsom in collusion with Taylor who gave out massive wages rises and contract extensions and left just as we were heading towards administration, he would also have been largely responsible for new stadium move.
Buzzell Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 How depressing your obviously far young!!!! I'm 28 pal.
Guest Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 I'm 28 pal. He would still have been at the club when you were 13/14. Late bloomer?
Buzzell Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 He would still have been at the club when you were 13/14. Late bloomer? Ahh yeah before my time then. Didn't really follow a team until I was about 16 so there's the reason. Late bloomer indeed.

Both as bad as each other. Muzzy and his agent went in to see them regards a new deal. Muzzy's agent said they will go for a figure that although they had no chance of getting its a negotiating point, Muzzy was worried as it was a silly figure at the time. They about fell off their chairs, asked if they could discuss it then got back with 'Ok' Figure was higher than the wages rumored at the club now. Didn't they also give a knackered Matt Elliot a silly contract until he was in his late 30s

Yes and MON wasn't at all easy to work with during the period he was here. Elsom was a yes man.
MPH Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Yes and MON wasn't at all easy to work with during the period he was here. Elsom was a yes man. MON could of had a fettish for sticking live lobsters up his bottom for all i care. Got us into europe twice and won the league cup with him. Id even be ok if he preferred their pincers untaped.
wight88 Posted 14 February 2015 Posted 14 February 2015 In another life would probably have made a good BBC presenter in the 70s...
