foxtillidrop Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 With respect to the owners, I have read on the kingpower instagram account that TOP has been ordained to 'purify himself for family and LCFC which he loved'. Does this mean that TOP won't be as involved as he previously was with LCFC? http://instagram.com/vs_kingpower
HitchinFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Christ. If that's what you get for wanting Pearson out, I'm definitely in the Pearson IN camp. Want to keep my eye brows.
Jace Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 So what part of the purifying process is Vichai going through by dying his hair black?
KFS Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Must be more culturally aware. I don't have a clue what this means...
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Vichai has got a definite "Don't **** with me" face. Top looks like he's just woken up at the start of the Hangover 4.
RedSoxUK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Must be more culturally aware. I don't have a clue what this means... He's become a monk.

johnny the fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 He's become a monk. After today Im considering doing the same.. its less painful.
ScouseFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 he's got the fattest feet i've ever seen wow
GaelicFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 HE IS A MONK NOW That's amazing story Truly amazing not a usual one for a wealthy family Wow .....this season just gets more surreal His could be the good fortune the club need ...... The owner will believe so
ousefox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 yeah i don't understand this stuff either - how long is he a monk for?
Babylon Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 yeah i don't understand this stuff either - how long is he a monk for?Until his Dad says he can come off the naughty step I'd imagine.
johnny the fox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 For part of his induction he has bought a property in Thailand for a shilling..its his Bob monkhouse.
GaelicFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 As a novice monk, they have to obey the ten precepts. This includes basic things like not stealing or lying and also not eating after noon. But they can drink liquids in the afternoon like milk. At the end of the ceremony, the abbot reads the 10 precepts out in Pali which is the ancient language of the scriptures. The novices have to repeat them after him. The new novice monks now prostrate three times and leaves the hall. A common misconception is that monks in Thailand are monks for life and while true for some the majority will serve only a temporary or short-term Buddhist monk ordination. This can be days, weeks, months or years and at some period during their lives most Thai men will serve as a monk in ordination. After completing their term they then return to ‘laity’ in normal life. A popular period for temporary ordination is the Thai summer holidays between April and June a period where the number of monks in Thailand can double and up. Through Buddhist teachings and meditation short-term monks will be prepared to fill their future roles as good citizens.
RedSoxUK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 yeah i don't understand this stuff either - how long is he a monk for? Some part-time, that's usually as an experience - because TOP was ordained, I imagine that's for life. And due to his Father's social standing in Thailand, I'd imagine he would be very pissed if TOP failed to follow through with the Buddhist traditions. Must have been TOP's choice, fair play to him. Usually does mean living at a monastery, so his involvement in LCFC will more than likely become void. no sex either.

Witch Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Well, Top being ordained is quite logical movement. That's because one needs a holy patience to bear with Pearson.
HitchinFox Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 til his hair grows back yeah i don't understand this stuff either - how long is he a monk for? Does that mean that Konch was a monk too?
benpicko Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Is this so that we don't have to fly them in again to win a match?
