Silverdaz Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Some of our Fans attitudes recenly is disgusting argueing amongst ourselves, vandelising seats, scaring young kids. These are young kids either they are grown men so all I have to say to them is Grow up start supporting the team and act your age. But then agaim im probably wasting my breath its probably these people who think its big and fun to smoke in the the toilets. I know its only the minority but this sort of behaviour spoils it for the majority Rant over p.s keep the faith.
davieG Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 You've got the thread title wrong shouldn't it read - Is Pearson to blame for the attitude of our fans? All threads should now start with 'IS PEARSON' You're right though if that's what is happening

Jeez - went for a slash in block Q of the Doug Ellis stand at half time yesterday and it was like a cross between a shisha bar or one of those greenhouse fumigation smoke generators in there. 28 years ago I travelled on a football special to Villa Park via New Street and it was packed with the baby squad - young, aggressive, naïve and stupid. Yesterday some of the notorious members came out of the woodwork - old, bald and fat...aggressive, naïve and stupid.
melrose Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I know what you mean, It made me quite nostalgic as well!
walkerleeds Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Lost it yesterday towards the final whistle at some complete clowns who were moaning about the team selection and shouting 'Pearson Out' about 15 minutes BEFORE kick off and throughout the game. Probably wouldn't have noticed had I had more than 1 pint before kick off, there's a reason i'm usually half- cut watching us play Edit: Constructively asking someone why they bother turning up is difficult.

What provision is made for smokers? I'm not a smoker, but was in and out within a minute.
peach0000 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I agree with all apart from the smoking bit, who cares? What provision is made for smokers? I'm not a smoker, but was in and out within a minute. The people that care are the kids who have no choice but to inhale that smoke.
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Took my 8 year old to his first away game yesterday. Aside from the abject performance I was dismayed by the amount of people who seem to be more focussed on arguing with stewards than watching the game. And there was a real cross section doing it. Not just young testosterone fuelled kids.
tommyh Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I smoke 20 fags a day and was desperate for one at half time yesterday.... i was thinking about going into the toilet to have one like everyone else but when i saw literally everyone coming out of the toilet chocking, this including little kids of around say 6 years old i thought better of it! This said if villa organised to let people outside at half time this would solve the problem cuz it guaranteed to happen and will happen every game until they do let people out for a smoke!
AndWhat? Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Just let people smoke in the pissing stands for gods sake.
Fox92 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Arguing among ourselves is due to the state of the club ie where we are in the league, poor performances and strange management decisions.
MrSpaM Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 So why wernt people complaining about smoking in the toilets at away games the whole of last season?!? Oh right, the team were playing well so nobody cared...
ramboacdc Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 its threads like this that make me realise my daughter is still way too young to come with me to matches home or away.
Langley Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Some idiot and his Mrs a few rows behind me started on Schlupp twenty minutes in saying that he's **** and lazy and that he should be subbed off. TWENTY MINUTES! They said the most mornic things I've ever heard come out of anyones mouth at the football. Never seen them at away games and I bloody hope that they stay away.
purpleronnie Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Just let people smoke in the pissing stands for gods sake. smoke is one thing but do we really want to go back to the days when we pissed in the stands?
Soup Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The people that care are the kids who have no choice but to inhale that smoke. I feel so sorry for these kids, they must be at deaths door this morning.
SpacedX Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Some idiot and his Mrs a few rows behind me started on Schlupp twenty minutes in saying that he's **** and lazy and that he should be subbed off. TWENTY MINUTES! Outrageous, do these people know nothing? He should have been off after ten
LCFC FOX Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 United away I went down for a piss during the first half to see two grown men sniffing in the cubical, they saw me looking and they responded "what the fvck you looking at"
BigMicky Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 The people that care are the kids who have no choice but to inhale that smoke. Stop being so precious.

Nalis Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Just let people smoke in the pissing stands for gods sake. No one wants to see another Valley Parade.
AndWhat? Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 No one wants to see another Valley Parade. God job they don't keep piles of rubbish under the concrete stands then.....
I blame Wellens Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 No one wants to see another Valley Parade.Don't be a melon.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 People always go on about ticket prices being too expensive and football being a "working class sport", then complain when "working class people" show up and want to smoke and be aggressive and swear all day. Either put up with the people that show up or stop complaining about the game being so expensive.
steveherbe Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 No one wants to see another Valley Parade. Agree. Ban air travel too, we don't want another Locherbie either
