Jiggers the Fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Mines updated now too! Group games in Lens, Lyon, Parc des Princes and the Stade de France. Pretty chuffed with that!

Jiggers the Fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 How much? Expensive ticks? All the 2nd category 55 euros. 4 of us going all applied for all of the games so and thankfully didn't get any duplicates.

I didn't get any of the second category ones just the two third cat ones. Im gonna wait for December and see what teams i get to see, if not the best then might sell on the euro portal as im sure that's what it said i could do. I have Paris then Lille two days later. Not sure how to play that or maybe just go the one game. Well see!
Voll Blau Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Will France be team A1? Is that how it works? Yep. Their venues are already decided. Stade de France, Marseille and Lille.
ousefox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 My mate got 4 in Marseilles on 18th and I got two in Bordeaux on 14th. Bit annoyed I haven't got a few more but hopefully my other mates will have picked up a few.
Dan Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Unreal. Three of us go for seven games each and not a single one won.
General Smuts Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Did anyone else get tickets for the Euros? I got 8 tickets for Stade de France in late June. I'll be at a Group F game and will see the winner of group E vs runner up group D. Answers that question!
General Smuts Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Upgraded to Category 1 so I'm forking out £100 a ticket in the luxury seats! Gonna be an expensive trip for me
AndWhat? Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Ferries booked for 11th of June and back 18th of June. Cheap as chips at the minute!
Maybes Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 8 of us applied for basically the most we could in catergories 2-4. Ended up with 22 tickets including 2 to the final. Personally applied for 72 tickets and got 4.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Unreal. Three of us go for seven games each and not a single one won. Christ that is shit luck. Me and 3 mates applied for 5 each and one got 3 out of the 4 he applied for!
StanSP Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 Got no tickets. Applied for 5 matches, 10 tickets. Nothing . All applications showing as unsuccessful.
Maybes Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 One of the lads applied for Category 3 across 18 matches and was successful with 5 matches. He did ticket the box to go up or down a category. About 4 of the 8 lads again applied for 10-18 matches and got none.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 I've got Stade de France 13 June and Lille 15 June. Unsure how to go about getting to both, shocked i got any tickets at all. Might go to Paris then train it to Lille. Anyone done this? Is it easy to get around France for an English guy with no French understanding?! Think will wait for December anyway and see what games i get, might potentially sell one if not the best fixture.

Direct train takes an hour and only costs about 35 quid I think.
CosbehFox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 15 games applied for via three of us, not a single game.
Dan Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Christ that is shit luck. Me and 3 mates applied for 5 each and one got 3 out of the 4 he applied for! We applied for between us a total of 63 tickets. I heard there was 5mil applications for 1mil tickets or something like that, so basically each application has a 1 in 5 chance of winning. Granted it isn't that simple as some applications will get more than others, but to lose something you have a 1 in 5 chance of winning 21 times on the spin is incredible, worked it out and there's less than a 1% chance of it happening. That is horrible luck. We're still going over and I'm sure we'll still get to a couple of games but it's just going to be a lot harder now.
Voll Blau Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 There were 10 million applications in France alone for tickets. 1m available in total.

Not quite that simple as most people will have applied for 2, 3 or 4 tickets so with 10m applications you could be looking up to 40m for 1m tickets. That's not even taking into account there was limited availability on the category 3 and 4 tickets but most applications would have been at those level. Those I know who applied for category 1 have been far more successful on the whole. Unlike the UEFA Mafia to make more tickets available at Cat 1....
VLC86 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Upgraded to Category 1 so I'm forking out £100 a ticket in the luxury seats! Gonna be an expensive trip for me Best way to get tickets if its the same as Ukraine, I paid ridiculous amounts for some of my tickets.
General Smuts Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Best way to get tickets if its the same as Ukraine, I paid ridiculous amounts for some of my tickets. Think I actually applied for Category 3 but ticked the 'happy to be upgraded' box. I'll just stay in a slightly shittier hotel and it'll even itself out.

I just read it as there were five million tickets applied for. Like I say there are a lot of variables, but oh well. In fairness I'd have guessed the latter was due to less people applying for the most expensive tickets.
