Ten nights in Lille booked for £230ish each.

Going to get to any game in Lille, Lens, Paris & Saint-Denis that we can.

Do people not fancy France to win this? Home advantage with a load of players coming through at just the right time. They will be favourites and rightfully so.

Can't see France doing it home advantage will add pressure and the French fans are will expect too much. Germany for me. They have a world class team already and their ageing world class stars are being replaced by future world class stars. I think we will get out the group and then get beat. We are getting better but still miles behind a lot of nations. I hope all the home nations qualify to be honest it's always good to see. Wales are an exciting prospect going forward but their defence is championship standard at best!

The rail passes that were used in 98 are going to be used again. They're excellent aparentley

I went to France 98 World Cup and if you are going without tickets then expect to pay an absolute bomb for tickets. I can remember trying to get tickets for USA V Iran and they were trying to charge over £100 even at kick off.

I went to Ukraine in 2012 and bought all of my tickets through the UEFA Resale portal, I think you pay 10% more and the tickets on sale tend to be in the higher brackets but I luckily managed to get 3 England matches, another quarter final and Portugal Holland.

I got my Quarter final one via UEFA in 2012. Only £80 ish

They won't be faves.

Germany are on another level. France will be semi-finalists at least though.

My England Italy one was the cheapest of the 5 I got on there, think that might have been £40 but the lower bracket tickets were few and far between.

Yeh, I only got mine the day after the third group game and so had to buy a higher category ticket. Hopefully I'll be successful via Englandfans but will apply for TST with UEFA too

Will be a fantastic tournament. I stayed in Lyon before and the fan zone was brilliant compared to the Ukraine ones. Any ideas when the UEFA ballot starts?

And I thought the fanzone in kiev before Italy was brilliant lol

There's a thing on their website where you can register your interest for whichever side you like and in whuch destination. TST tickets will probably be out just after New Year

To be honest iv had a bit of a mare with this lol the fan zone in Donetsk before the England Ukraine match was probably the highlight of my trip. I got unbelievable drunk and made friends with a bunch of Ukrainians, top stuff.

Yeah, home soil certainly didn't favour them in the last major tournament they played there... oh wait...

I think the French team looked a level or two above Denmark in their friendly. I know it's a friendly and 'only' Denmark, but they were passing with such fluency and attacking with great verve at times. I don't really feel they have any obvious weaknesses and in Giroud, Lacazette, Griezmann and Pogba, they have a few players that can decide matches in their favour.

Ok, so somewhat a premature thread depending on your nationality lol

We've got a motorhome for 16 days for the cost of about £256 each. Booked it in July last year. A lads had to drop out for a couple of reasons and is looking for someone to take his place...

Can this be moved to Gen Sport? Sorry!

Can I ask where you booked the motorhome from? thinking of doing the same thing!

Cheers! I'll get onto that. Also seen that match tickets go on sale this June? http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-finals/ticketing/index.html

Also what are your plans in terms of where to stay overnight? Are there campsites that can be pre booked or are you just winging it?!

I did the whole of euro 2012 for about £1400 including watching Noel Gallagher, plush hotels and tickets to every England game. Not bad for a 3 week holiday. Thinking of a campervan his time too, there's 2 groups of us going down in 7 berths, works out about £667 each for 24 nights including a return ferry crossing. Stop off at a hypermarket to stock up on food and booze and we'll be good to go, just petrol and match tickets to pay for but hoping to get them through emglandfans or uefa like euro 2012. Expecting it to cost £1800 all in all

We're over there for 16 nights. Come back during the break between the Group Stage and Quarters. I'll watch us in England in the quarters and fly back out for the semi and final if required. I've a list of camp sites that allow motorhomes in each destination so will book them the night of the draw. http://www.campingfrance.com/uk

Not sure how match tickets can go on sale this June unless they're tickets for the stadium/venue and you'll get to see whoever plays there. You've got to be very lucky to catch England if that's your aim?

We've paid £250 each. Then there's a deposit of £1250 (between 6 of us) that will be refunded on safe return of the vehicle (probably end up not getting this deposit back lol) I imagine it'll cost me another £500 for food and drink and fuel for 16 days. Match tickets on top obviously. Should just have enough caps to get them via englandfans.

Not sure what motorhome you're looking at mate but ours is described as a 7 berth- Flash 25 I think the model is. However, the 7th berth is only a tiny bed and there are only 6 seat belts in the thing and therefore only 6 people can legally travel in it. May be worth you checking out. Same plan as your RE booze and food at the hypermarket. Got to get the European travelling kit complete with breathalysers etc too.
