HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Yes this season hasn't been as easy as we had likes but who expected it to? We are not in the best place but we are not relegated yet, why is everyone on here so damn angry and disgusted? Is the rollercoaster of football not exciting? Do you really want to have the boring life of being a Villa fan? Lets all slate the players because we wish we were top of the league...oh well. They are not all crap, they are developing and if we do go down then why the hell would Pearson not be the man to get us out or at least have a go? Who would you rather have? Calm down people, worst things happen at sea and believe me I want us to stay up as I am due to lose £500 in bets to Forest fans if we go down. That's life.
adam Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 jesus, like I was saying on another post. So many happy with underachievement.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 15 March 2015 Author Posted 15 March 2015 Just isn't gonna ruin my life if we go down.
SecretPro Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Just isn't gonna ruin my life if we go down. Yes but this is a football forum, discussing football. Please see other 100+ posts about current situation. I echo the sentiment above, so many happy to underachieve and wank away the last 10 years.
adam Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Just isn't gonna ruin my life if we go down. It wont ruin mine either, doesn't mean we should all except what a massive disappointment this season has been. Oh and id much rather have the boring life of a villa fan. That cup semi final was be a right pain in the arse
Bettsj2 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Great thread. Well done to the OP. Raising some points that nobody else has ever. Just what's required.
Dan Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Anyone who didn't expect better than this is a moron. We have horrifically under-achieved this season largely down to our own doing. We're shite and I've had enough of it.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Fair enough to be unhappy at our performance this season, but why do so many of our fans feel the need to insult the manager and players. Grown men who throwing all kinds of words around about Pearson and the likes of Schwarzer, Morgan, Simpson and anyone else who fails to meet the standards. The team has been a major disappointment but the comments and behaviour of our fans representing our club on forms of social media and this forum is closer to embarrassing than many of our performances.
Donut Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Yes this season hasn't been as easy as we had likes but who expected it to? It wasnt too much to ask to expect better than this was it? We are not in the best place but we are not relegated yet, why is everyone on here so damn angry and disgusted? We are all but relegated, the belief it can be turned around is not there, and because 10 years of building and effort has been pissed up the wall by a manager who has lost the plot Is the rollercoaster of football not exciting? Do you really want to have the boring life of being a Villa fan? Who are all but safe now and firing again, and going to Wembley. tragic. Lets all slate the players because we wish we were top of the league...oh well. Stop being daft. You can have realistic goals you want to achieve They are not all crap, they are developing and if we do go down then why the hell would Pearson not be the man to get us out or at least have a go? Because he looks out of ideas, broken and as if he has totally lost the plot, look at the evidence you have. Who would you rather have? A manager with some fresh ideas, and if it means going and plucking one from another club, im sure there will be takers. Calm down people, worst things happen at sea and believe me I want us to stay up as I am due to lose £500 in bets to Forest fans if we go down. You have more money than sense then and your mates must think youre a top bloke That's life.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 15 March 2015 Author Posted 15 March 2015 All I can see is whinge, whinge, whinge.
hejammy Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 All I can see is whinge, whinge, whinge. Well then let's all just clap and be merry. It's amazing isn't it at the moment being bottom of the league...
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 All I can see is whinge, whinge, whinge. And rightly so. If I'd have paid 40 odd quid to watch that garbage yesterday I'd have wanted my money back. I've just shelled out to go to the Hawthorns in a couple of weeks, upon the request of my son. If we travel to West Brom to watch such an abject performance as we saw yesterday I'm going to print out a picture of Nige and the squad and thrown darts at it.
the-blue-wildabeast Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Just isn't gonna ruin my life if we go down. Again, another supporter happy to accept and defend abysmal performances, another city fan who deserves second tier football.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 This thread is as tragic as our season.
Guest Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 jesus, like I was saying on another post. So many happy with underachievement. I would say that rather than being happy with underachievement, some have a sense of perspective. Nobody is happy we're almost certainly being relegated (apart from possibly those who are desperate to see Pearson sacked and see it as their best opportunity for that), and as disappointing as this season has been and a real missed opportunity, it's not quite over yet and even if we do go down is it the end of the world?

I thought rollercoaster's it's up and down whilst on the ride, well this rollercoaster's shit, there was only 4 up parts, and the rest of it was down.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 15 March 2015 Author Posted 15 March 2015 You're right I do accept it. Just a realist I guess. Am I happy to accept it? More indifferent. Funny though as I still actually believe we will stay up.

Where's your passion, ambition, expectation? The 'perspective' you speak of....where you there yesterday? I have a feeling you come on here and post, but don't attend games? Very few expected European qualification. I suggest even less expected to go into a game like yesterday, when we needed a performance, to see what we saw. You've been making excuses all season, being sarcastic when people have questioned..and are still doing it, I see. Why am i not surprised?

I've been going home and away for years. You're the one I'd suggest barely goes to games given you're on here before the final whistle goes. Come on down and see me in SK1 if you like? I expected a win yesterday and was left bitterly disappointed, I can't excuse that result at all. I have passion about this club but I'm also pretty level headed and don't have the bi-polar attitude that you have you imbecile!

Another city fan with such low expectations, but its OK dear, we are going back to lower league football where a lot of city fans expectations live.
st albans fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 If we're the worst team in this league then there is no problem being bottom of it and bereft of ideas about getting out of that position. however, we went into this season the third worst team so why should we be relaxed/comfortable about now being the worst? Surely that's the issue. Burnley are over performing and we are under performing. Why?

It's a shame you don't show that level of passion towards the disgrace that was yesterday! How do you do the fishing rod smiley?..... Cos it's apt here...

And just cos I'm level headed about my perspective on city doesn't mean I shouldn't give fvckwits like you the grief you deserve.
