I do show that level of passion at the games. Like I say, come down to SK1 to see me. That would involve you going to a game though.

And just cos I'm level headed about my perspective on city doesn't mean I shouldn't give fvckwits like you the grief you deserve.

You're an angry man this morning bud..

Level headed...?

How many more insults are you going to throw out? Careful, you'll be banned.

If people are happy with failure and embarrassment then good for you.

Quite right Raj. I really don't understand why some people have such low expectations and ambitions, what's the point of sport if you don't want to try and be the best you can.

I don't think its so much about low expectation. Many people genuinely thought Pearson would be the right man to turn us around and to get us playing well in the Premiership. Again...I will never forget the night on here when Pearson was sacked..then wasn't.

It was amazing... Rarely have I ever seen such a bizarre set of threads as were posted that night. Grown men saying they were weeping, pictures of Pearson as Jesus and general mirth and merriment because Sir Nige was keeping his job. A mutual appreciation society, without doubt.

Bizarre in the extreme IMO.

Unfortunately, it looks like such loyalty was probably misguided. Whilst people were taking the pee out of Sherwood, Pulis and Pardew, and at the same time, kissing the feet of Pearson, the reality probably is that any of those three could have come into the club, at the right time, and given us a better chance of survival.

However, tis Holy Water under the bridge. We made our bed, we sleep in it..so to speak.

Let's be fair. It will take a miracle for us to escape now given that Burnley beat City and Villa battered Sunderland. What it means is that we probably need to win 6/10 games to survive. Tall order indeed. We can argue about whether Pearson should stay, his tactics and personnel, but the reality is that we haven't had the quality where it counts. The difference between us and Burnley is that they actually have competent strikers who score freely. Even last year they had the deadliest combination up front.

I don't necessarily blame the players, because they have tried and worked really hard throughout the season, and the manager has on the whole played the correct team. What is clear, is that we don't have the quality where it matters. It's no good being Barcelona in attack if Jeff Schlupp puts the ball in row Z when it matters. Clearly we should have signed more quality, and more importantly experience. Huth has made such a difference to our defence, and a similar player up front would have helped us out. Nevertheless this group of players will get stronger, and I think we should stick to the core and strip out a few assets. Players like James, Vardy, Nugent, Mahrez, Schlupp... etc will become better players after this season

It was quite unreal not just that night, but since the 'Pearson Out' rhetoric began, so many pro Pearson posters would say, 'yeah but who apart from Pulis' or 'if you want Pulis you know nothing about football'.

Really?

Pulis was there and available and we should have gone and got him. With the backing our owners would have given him in January, he would have come, he would have got us winning and he would have gotten us out of danger and safe just like he did with Stoke, just like he did with Palace and just like he's doing at West Brom.

Those who didnt want him and wanted to stick with Pearson really dont know football as well as they claim to.

Yesterday was embarrasing and i'm sick of hearing shit like, 'well you obviously didnt see us under Levein etc'. Who gives a fvck about that? Why are people using a time when we were shitter than we are now to defend how shit we are now?

Even the ref was trying to help us out yesterday! Its so shit at the minute and we're getting no signs of recovery from our management staff. To defend it and try and say we should 'just get behind the lads' and all that bullshit is ridiculous.

The time has come for a proper 'out' campaign against Nigel. Banners, protests the lot. Next home game, i'd love to start hearing more boos, Nigel Pearson what a willy puller etc etc. We as fans owe it to our support of our CLUB to not let this fvckwit drown us further.

What hurts most of all this season is how ordinary our stars from last year have looked. Drinkwater, Vardy, knockaert etc have been so disappointing while their counterparts at burnley who I'm sorry were not as good as them last year have settled in better to this league.

Looking at the team yesterday and difference in personal, approach, guile and general application from last year is shocking.

We started the season of so well with the approach of the season before and had we maintained that we may have been better placed.

Changing mentality again with 10 games to go is close to impossible. This season like many other I'm the prem will be a what if. That's what hurts. We always fade away without a fight in relegation scrap.

Knocky hasn't been given a fair chance so it baffles me how anyone can make that conclusion from 3 starts. Drinky is decent but too similar to our other central midfielders, we simply don't have the pace, physicality, fight or creativity to play two in central midfield, but he would have been fine in a three. Vardy has largely played on the wing with little success, but in fairness to all our strikers, how many clear cut chances have been created for them? Its not as if they are missing built edged chances.

So basically they haven't lived up to expectations as envisaged at the start?

All based on conjecture and wishful thinking.

And the part about the "Pearson Out" campaign at the bottom - pathetic. Almost as pathetic as the "Pardew Out" situation at Newcastle.

I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best but it seems some are hoping for the worst.

until yesterday, i was expecting us to make a fist of it. after about half an hour, i turned to my son and said 'its the same shit isnt it?'. he nodded.

Difference is, Pardew is a good proven manager at Prem level so it made no sense. Pearson is an idiot.

Conjecture? Really? So Pulis didnt establish Stoke in the top flight? He didnt keep Palace up? He hasnt stabalised WBA? He hasnt ever taken a job with a team in a precarious position? Our owners havent financially backed every manager since they arrived?

Not conjecture or wishful thinking. Only the most pigheaded fools still argue that Pulis wouldnt have saved us and that Pearson is still somehow our best option.

I feel sorry for you and those like you.

Yes Pearson is an idiot, I've never liked him and said he should have gone at the end of his second season back.

But it's not his fault he's still the manager, the owners are responsible for not getting rid earlier.

The "conjecture" bit was in response to your claim that (a manager like) Pulis would've kept us up regardless.

You're an angry young man at the moment and this anger clouds your judgment.

Continuously calling our manager an "idiot" isn't helping the cause at all - it just means you've resorted to the last line or lowest level of your own defense.

I don't think anybody's going to be chucking themselves off bridges because of our relegation, but this is one of our worst ever seasons in the top flight.

I put MC onto ignore weeks ago. The problem is people reply to him and he to them, so I then have to read what I was hoping to ignore. .

Aggravating.

He is an idiot and continues to show himself to be.

In previous weeks and threads i've offered reasoned arguments commenting on his tactics, selections, formations, transfer dealings etc. Now his behaviour draws my response.

I'm not young and i'm not angry. Just very, dissapointed.

Burnley are not doing much better than us. There fans supported them to the end of of a massive result against Man City last night. Our support has been the most disappointing part of this seasons or mea.peoplehad given up and started booing the team by January.

Admittedly it's being a disappointing season, but booing and groaning at games isnt going to get us out of this shit!

Supporting the team and getting behind every player and pass and making the walkers a den, will make a difference. Not that it will ever happen, too many glory supporting, moaning so and so's at this club.

How do you put people on ignore? When people have a different opinion to me I want to stick my fingers in my ears and go "na na na not listening to youuuuu".

After every game, I study the league table, games left for rivals, etc almost to the point of being obsessed.

Almost 24 hours after yesterdays game I haven't even bothered checking the table as there is little point.

If someone Pearson keeps us up by continued tinkering I think we should still sack him. If its by knowing who his best XI is and tactically outclassing the opposition (and learning from his many mistakes) then maybe I might change my mind.

I wont give up blind hope until we are mathematically down but even though fat lady hasn't sung just yet, she's already on stage.
