Mark_w Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Does anyone know if it's possible to get a notification when users on your ignore list quote you?
Mark_w Posted 26 March 2015 Author Posted 26 March 2015 Not really. I want to ignore almost all of their posts, but I'd like to know when they're specifically responding to a point I've made or are asking me a question.
Benguin Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 If your ex girlfriend blocks you on facebook for succeeding without her, you can write as many statuses slaggin.g her off as you want. She aint gonna see!
The Doctor Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Does anyone know if it's possible to get a notification when users on your ignore list quote you? You don't get a notification.
Mark_w Posted 26 March 2015 Author Posted 26 March 2015 You don't get a notification. I know, I'm wondering if there's any way of setting it so that I get a notification when they quote me, but without having to take them off my ignore list. I assume there isn't but I figured I may have missed it.
Stadt Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Kingfox occasionally quotes me but I don't know about it.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Do you get notifications already when someone does quote you?
Mark_w Posted 26 March 2015 Author Posted 26 March 2015 Do you get notifications already when someone does quote you? Yes?
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Yes? Just wondering. You probably can't receive notifications from those on Ignore. Perhaps Administrators could change it in the AdminCP but I doubt it.
Soar Fox Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Or just put your tampon back in and ignore them. You've obviously put them on ignore for a reason so why would you want to reply even if they did quote you.
Mike Oxlong Posted 27 March 2015 Posted 27 March 2015 I have never stuck anyone on ignore as I'm just too nosey. Been tempted a few times mind.
Unabomber Posted 27 March 2015 Posted 27 March 2015 Too much hassle to put people on ignore, loads have me on ignore tho n can't blame them.

cambridgefox Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 I have never stuck anyone on ignore as I'm just too nosey. Been tempted a few times mind. same here, people don't offend me too easily and it's an Internet forum im sure people would act differently face to face.Lamby p!ssed me off the other week re hunting , which I can understand that part. when he hoped I got shot and called me a fooking vermin cvnt, this after I gave him advice and support after his work troubles, but I thought it said more about him than me.That one post showed me what sort of person he is,but still won't ignore him he entertains me too much, although I won't be giving advice again.

Nick Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 How do I put someone on ignore? Nobody replying to your post may suggest that others have had this worked out for a while.
Haydos Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Nobody replying to your post may suggest that others have had this worked out for a while. It's only been 2 minutes :'(
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 It's in user preferences or something on edit your profile. Somewhere in that list it says manage my ignore preferences I think. I'm on my phone not the full site hence the very vague attempt at help
