Had to apply for a ticket in the main stand, should get it in a few days. Went pretty smoothly on the phone (not having an LE postcode helps, obvs). Fingers crossed.

Not the biggest Beatles fan, but I find the recent colourized tour videos fascinating. There's the ones from the Munich circus show, on US TV, at Shea Stadium (where they barely could hear their own playing because of how loud the crowd was), or this one: You notice how tight they were live, and that it sounded just as good as the record, if not better. And McCartney's and Lennon's harmonies were insanely good.

Body Double (1984) is hilarious. An absurdist thriller with comedy elements. Plus Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Rear Window, but with a claustrophobic Peeping Tom as the protagonist. And a young, scantily clad Melanie Griffith... in leather. Definitely some rewatch value in there.

Squad's still taking shape, no reason to panic. I'm more concerned how we're going to implement late arrivals/transfers as pre-season progresses. In any case, this team right now is doing well. Winning breeds confidence.

I suppose we'll keep him. For now. Skipp is a hard sell, no standout player. He needs to prove himself in League One and make up for the disaster that was last season. More impact in (defensive) midfield, more impact going forward (assists), more dominance. Ar 25, there's still potential. About time it shows.
