Petchy Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Just been on SSN that Tottenham want to loan him out in January. Could be a potential replacement for Davies? Just wanted peoples thoughts on this.
leicesterisme Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 If he's back fit and ready to go then defiantly yes.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Kirkland in goal, Woodgate at the back, and then we should get Hargreaves on loan. Have a real sick note spine to the team.
Heskey2011 Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Forget Woodgate we should have a look at that River bloke from Wayne Rooney Street Striker
marbelladave Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Kirkland in goal, Woodgate at the back, and then we should get Hargreaves on loan. Have a real sick note spine to the team. Get EMO from United to play up front... Try for Dyer on the wing....... This could run and run...
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Kirkland in goal, Woodgate at the back, and then we should get Hargreaves on loan. Have a real sick note spine to the team. Three good old crocks should keep the physo busy
Narborough_fox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Kirkland in goal, Woodgate at the back, and then we should get Hargreaves on loan. Have a real sick note spine to the team. Don't forget Owen up-front.
purpleronnie Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Shilton looked fit on strictly :-/ Oo er.
chavdonk Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 no chance whatsoever although i would like to be proved wrong
sdb Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I think it's actually quite likely he'll come here for a bit. We have money, want a 'big' name, will prob need a CB, no prem teams would risk him yet imo. I wouldn't want a half fit player though, however good they can occasionally be (world beaters aside).
CloudFox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I'd honestly rather we buy someone (or some few perhaps!). Loan signings are always more of a temporary thing, and at least then there's a better chance of stronger communication amongst the back four. Mind, if he was fit and worked well with Hobbs/Vitor, I wouldn't say no...
Bablemikey Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Be a waste of a loanee spot IMO. The lad had a terrible time with injuries at Real Madrid and has not fared too much better at Spurs so taking him on would definately be a big gamble fitness wise.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Shilton looked fit on strictly :-/ Lycra and Sequins your type of thing?
ajthefox Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 gotta say I'm not too keen on this, he's the definition of injury prone. What we need is consistency, not another CB, and especially one who'll be injured half the time. He's quality no doubt but just too much of a risk.
David Guiza Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 I can't believe the same people who wanted us to sign Danny Shittu and Jay De Meritt are snubbing Woodgate. If he stayed fit he'd be amazing in this division. Won't happen though.
bettso Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Would have him in a heartbeat. Sven always rated him highly when he was England manager so you never know.

Zingari Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 just seen Woodgate near frog island , at the corner of fosse road north
Petchy Posted 24 December 2010 Author Posted 24 December 2010 I personally think it would be a gamble, but one worth taking IF/WHEN Davies ends up moving on to someone else permanently.
Simmo86 Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Just seen him and Bowyer in Morrisons. Weren't buying Alcopops were they?
David Guiza Posted 24 December 2010 Posted 24 December 2010 Massive but surely if he got injured he'd return to Spurs anyway?
