Fair enough. I won't argue with your experience, it's not something I've encountered before as you allude to. I've seen plenty of Jaecoos but never noticed any sort of trend in terms of drivers. I know someone who recently got a car from some sort of allowance but she has severe cerebral palsy, lives in a care home and it is genuinely very significant for her lifestyle and being able to see her family. I was a bit surprised honestly and I am amazed that there are people getting cars when there is nothing wrong with them, but I am inclined with these types of things to think that anecdotal experience whilst valid is not necessary reflecti e of society as a whole. Maybe that's naivety/wishful thinking.

Can you elaborate on this with specifics? I'm genuinely curious to understand who is being given a car and for what reason. Because frankly this sounds like some sort of daily m*il headline.

At the very least you're aware of your urges and how harmful they can be and you've shared that with others. That is a positive step my friend. 2 years is a big deal too, well done on getting as far as you have. An idle mind is not an especially useful thing, try and find some way to keep it occupied if you can. Stay strong and keep us posted.

I wouldn't expect public ownership to fix everything and no-one should. One of our big issues is partly down to much of our drainage infrastructure being combined. It's not something anyone seems to even mention because we simply don't have the funds to change it. That said, access to water is the foundation of life and IMO it never should've been privatised to make profits for people. It's fecking mental. I could be wrong but I'm sure I remember reading we were one of a handful of countries in the entire world (if not the only) that has a privatised water system.

Not the worst we've had but it would've been so much better with white stripes and a related pattern. Thought it might be one to buy later in the season but it looks like that's not going to be a difficult decision.

Weird post. It could just be that those have gone over there have been slightly better behaved than our reputation might suggest. That said I don't recall much issue in Qatar 4 years ago either. I would imagine given you're looking more at thousands rather than hundreds just to be there, that that probably changes the complexion of people over there somewhat in comparison to the typical European excursions.

It feels like sods law that we get a decent kit with a unique nod to Leicester this year after the dross we've had the last few years.

May well be on the list anyway but if it isn't already go to Newborough. In terms of beach settings in the UK it has to be up there. Coming through the forest is stunning and the views of Eryri across the bay are fantastic. I'd also recommend a place called The Stores in Trearddur (a pretty bay that feels quite busy, relatively speaking) if you go up that way. Great food there. My mate recommended Mynydd Parys, unfortunately I didn't get to see it but it's an old copper mine you can walk around.

Merseyside has had a combined authority for a number of years now. I don't know too much about specifics but it certainly seems like it has been beneficial for the region from a development perspective. I got on an LNW train to Crewe last Sunday at 1.45. They didn't announce the train until a few minutes before and I honestly have never seen so many people instantaneously move in the same direction. It's crackers. All the rail staff are telling people to calm down/slow down, but it turned out the last train up was cancelled and the one before that cancelled mid way because someone was taken ill so it was a sardines in a tin situation. 10 carriages, and all those people were moving at once. I would love to hear someone explain the logic for that system.
