  1. It's f.ucking daft (as per) but I don't think that's what the intent is, it's just something that happened a few years ago.
  2. Never liked him as a player. Dislike him more now, although it's perhaps as much our fault as his that we appointed someone clearly not good enough for the job. Let's hope we see a picture of the corner flag on the website on Monday.
  3. Reading the post I think the fine and/or points are made significantly worse by not naming himself, which is obviously just very unfortunate.
  4. Yeah, I understand that. As I said, I don't have an issue with sharing. Selling is a different matter.
  5. Nickname: Aiya, watts goin on ere lads?
  6. I have to question the ambition for this to be unlimited, at least in terms of resales. I get people share and I've no issue with that, but if you're re-selling your ST for 60%+ of games then maybe you shouldn't be buying an ST in the first place.
  7. Rubys have vanished as well. Does my tits in going into a pub that's just got lager and 5 different pales.
  8. I prefer Paul Rudd.
  9. It was an interesting listen but you've got to take it with a spoonful of salt when he's been so involved and still is. I thought it was telling he referred numerous times to people at some level not being very good, but made no reference to the fact that Rudkin is ultimately responsible for them being in position and therefore should be taking the flack accordingly. Seemed pretty disparaging about several players as well, which did come off a little bitter.
  10. I had a month off in 2019. It was one of the best months of my life having just hit rock bottom and then turning it around with a lot of support. First and foremost I think it was the acknowledgement and validation of what I was feeling that gave me a foundation to move forward. My work weren't very good at lots of things but it was all fine. I got in touch with them and they gave me their blessing to attend an interview elsewhere a few days before my planned return. They didn't have to but I still remember being worked up making that call, and crying tears of relief when I got off the phone with them. I hope things pick up for you.
  11. Started re-watching Mad Men this week.
  12. And us and Ipswich on 100%. Clearly something wrong with the modelling.
  13. It's really sad to read this Davie, I'm sure it wasn't easy but well done for doing so. There is an article on the beeb that went up in the last day or so about a bloke at Man United, 74 years in the same seat and he's had to give it up.
  14. First ride in a while yesterday, really enjoyed it. Ordered a new titanium gravel bike through cycle to work scheme the other week. It feels weird though, the roadie I've been riding for the last 10 years was 2nd hand off an old boy for £200 and I've had a lot of fun on it. This one is 10x that which does feel a bit strange, but I will get good use out of it and honestly I can't wait to have something that is good quality and has a bit more versatility.
  15. Humans have been telling stories since we've had the language to be able to. We have been learning from each other from fiction and from truth that entire time. Maybe a documentary would be more useful, maybe not. The fact that Adolescence has caused as much discussion as it has, presenting issues (which we know full well exist) in an emotive way, is evidence enough of the power and usefulness of good fiction. I think you can argue that with works of fiction it is perhaps easier for people to map their own experiences against the themes of the story, rather than against that of a documentary with much more specific events.
  16. From a comedic standpoint this is great. For you, not so much.
  17. Speaking of... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj3x5j6g30ro Can't even talk about civil disobedience now. The frustrating thing for me is that I'm sure some people will have supported a crack down on JSO and others without understanding where all of it leads. It is frightening.
  18. Getting Jonny Evans back to play up front and getting Musa back in midfield, you crazy cat!
  19. I think people are going to be disappointed with the lack of turnover in the summer. Our track record for shifting players we don't want is woeful. I can't see more than 1 or 2 with contracts into next year actually being sold. Maybe a couple loans but we've even struggled with that as well.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c24q31yl0lvo Can we take a leaf out of Wednesday's book so this useless bunch all fvck off? I had no idea Wednesday were funded by a tuna magnate.
  21. I agree and it is definitely something we can improve on. That said, ultimately there is only so much you can do. You could do all the right things and a player might still leave for Man City or Liverpool because those clubs are who they are and money talks. Even if we weren't currently a shambles, the pull of those clubs has got to be huge for a young talent.
  22. Met a Forest fan in the pub last night. My mate said aren't we sort of rivals and the bloke instantly refuted it and started talking about Derby I walked off shortly after.
  23. Captained my hockey team to the league title (and promotion) yesterday with a 7-0 win. Buzzing.
  24. Is that an impersonator or something? What the feck is he doing walking around in the kit of the club he the club This is so bizarre.
