They won't be, commercially they are far more common than in residential property. We haven't been hitting house-building targets for the last 20 years plus. Every government knows we need more and I guess they say they will get developers building more because it's good for votes but I think the reality is that it is always going to be more complicated than people want it to be.

Not a great advert for the league if the record is broken by the 3 promoted teams 2 seasons on the bounce, particularly considering how us and Southampton had been in the league for years before hand. I could be wrong but I don't think the 3 promoted teams have gone straight back down in consecutive seasons ever.

People seem to love ragging on Enzo but this is basically his 2nd season in management. He's still new to it.

Watching this and then thinking about what we're seeing on the pitch now is absolute chalk and cheese. I'm full of so much pride watching that lot. At the moment I don't give a shit and any mention of us in conversation is just depressing.

There's quite a lot of very meh stuff and all the big popular stuff which is hit and miss depending on your taste, but I also think there is actually a hell of a lot of value in the reeds if you are willing to try stuff. Some of my favourites of the last year or so (ignoring the big name stuff you'll probably have heard of): Wrong Side of the tracks (Entrevias) - great Spanish drama series about a poor neighbourhood in Madrid Alpha Males (Machos Alfa) - Spanish comedy about 4 men dealing with the new world Brian and Charles - Really warming British movie about a very eccentric man And Mrs - Aisling Bea in comedy drama about death of her fiance Emily the Criminal - Aubrey Plaza plays a new criminal. Need I say more? Nine Days - Too hard to explain but this was brilliant Bloodline - Really good american drama series about a well regarded family with a dark history She's Gotta Have it - Contemporary series based on the film, by Spike Lee. Really unique. Chef - About a chef opening a food truck with his son. Very easy and satisfying watch. Starstruck - Comedy series about life at 30(ish) by Rose Matafeo Stockholm East - Swedish film about a chance meeting of strangers Fisk - Aussie comedy about a wills & probate office There's a lot of stand-up too which I don't think any of the other platforms can compete with. I've discovered some of my favourite comedians through Netflix. Very hit and miss obviously but there's loads to go through if you're keen

The book is well worth a read. Docs are based on it but even if you've seen the docs the book still has a lot more detail and history to it.

Poor woman. I hope someone sends her this video. What an odious little man.

It's Interesting to hear from someone who really knows his stuff.

How does this team do in the Championship?
ajthefox replied to hejammy's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think with a reasonably capable manager we would be quite capable of achieving top 6, the championship is mostly dross. That said, if it started badly I could also see us being very table. I think suggesting a double relegation is doom mongering. People said the same the year before last. Yeah it happened to Luton but that's not comparable, they were never an established side and just getting to the PL for them was huge. -
Bungy is right to be fair, when I first heard Russia was invading I thought Putin was trying to steal all of our cranes for a building project.

£2-2.5k psqm is a good benchmark @Lako42 Below a certain size it is very difficult to get it any cheaper as your groundworks is a big chunk and will be disproportionately bigger the smaller the extension is. If you get any quotes, get as much information as you can written down.

I completely agree re the effects of cocaine and alcohol, but I don't think many people are actually saying that coke makes you want to do those things. I think people who do coke at the football are nobheads before they do the coke, and I'd imagine they're probably boozing too as well.

Hmmmm. Kingy is surely one of our most cherished players and I'm glad he's here. But that said, the cynic is me is a bit dubious, and if we're being honest with ourselves, how much are we really going to benefit from this? I love the bloke and long term I think it's great he's around, but let's not get carried away. And for the love of god don't just throw him into a management role for us if things get worse. The last thing we need is to see Kingy in the dugout floundering and getting caught in the mire of this shitshow. Ruud's managerial talent is up in the air (I'm not convinced at all), Kingy isn't going to just become a great manager overnight.

Best of the worst Where's your pride Stan?

You would really hope that this is someone perhaps being a bit naive and sticking to rules a bit tightly but given how things have been I don't think we can give the club the benefit of the doubt. This is the sort of stuff that needs sending to press outlets to publicise and shame the club, they would absolutely hate stuff like this getting major press.

How does testing idiots who run on the pitch help with preventing idiots in the stand engage in anti-social behaviour and doing lines? Everyone knows once you're on the pitch you're getting a ban anyway.
-
Agreed. Those whispy panels look so naff, they're proper basement bargain lower league rubbish They're all the same template though? Just essentially 2 changes to the collar and a couple have patterns.
-
It's not inevitable. I think to suggest it is when we are 2 points below them with 13 games left is to misunderstand/ignore of the meaning of the word. I'm not sure I agree with those who suggest Wolves are so much better than us either. If they really were, surely they'd be on more than 19 points by now..? That said, I do think we'll go down and have resigned myself to it.
-
Good job we've got another thread to discuss this in.
-
I second this @Alf Bentley, hope all goes well.
-
I wish people could talk about the club without getting so stuck in the mire about the merits of different people's fandom and being drawn into keyboard warrior bollocks. It's so tiresome.
-
Liverpool as well. I know that referring to a rich 6 club is a bit dirty, but I don't think there is any doubt that of those 6 Liverpool have been run the best. Their transfer strategy has largely been very successful and they haven't spent anywhere near what Man City, Man Utd or Chelsea have.

Rudkin microwaves the baked potato and eats it on its own. He regularly burns the roof of his mouth but never fvcking learns.
