Question to a dead relative/friend. Ask it here.
ajthefox replied to Free Falling Foxes's topic in General Chat
Never met either of my grandfathers. I've always wished I could have met them both just to see what they were like. -
Awesome place. The food is brilliant. Go to the blue mountains. About 20$ for return train ticket, quite a nice journey once you're out of the city. It's a full day but definitely worth it. Get over to Manly too and do the North head and one of the quieter beaches. R U Ok HPF?

It's kind of a shame Riccy is still here and will be part of this shower of shit that gets relegated. It's unfortunate that he's been out injured but he has never been anything less than solid for us and he is clearly a good bloke. Crazy when you imagine the career he could've had if he'd never done his ACL and had another season of football playing as well as he did in his pomp.
-
You're cherry picking here but the point is that they are where they are in the table and over the course of the season they deserve to be. They might not make the CL but they're having a great season. Move on man.

That's what everyone said about our title.
-
I probably could've phrased it better but that was what I was getting at really. Plenty thought it was the right call but from a human angle it was different to any other sacking.
-
Yeah, not a great argument. I don't think anyone was glad that we sacked Ranieri in the sense that we all loved him but it was the right decision. You never get the good press for those decisions when it turns out to be a good one but you get the bad press from those who don't see the full picture. I'm pretty sure we got some stick for sacking that goblin from NI but that was the most united I think I have ever seen FT on a manager related decision - and we've been through our fair share.

I'd love to know how they're working out the probability of Man City getting proper punishment from the authorities, and it actually being enforced.

I don't quite understand the charge. Who is that banner actually discriminating against? Was it aimed at Fenerbahce? -

Maybe I'm too cynical but it looks like AI to me. Look at the face of the bloke on the left, look at the left hand side of the bonnet/windscreen on the nearest car, the writing on the tram. I know photos deteriorate and colouration can make things look a bit different but this looks odd to me. -

Rangers. Not even sure what this means. Woke foreign ideologies = bad, but we must defend Europe? -
Such a shame this is how he is going out. It's a disgrace really.

Tomorrow is a new day, Chris. Make up for it as best you can next time you go in and try not to beat yourself up about a day you've missed.

I think a lot of it will be down to implementation of these ideas. I saw that Labour are changing the impact some of the statutory consultees will have on development as one example. This could help but it could also turn out to just be a back door to help push development through. They've also mentioned increasing affordability percentage targets on these 'grey belt' sites. In theory that's good, but the targets aren't enforced enough as it is because developers just pay off all of the LAs anyway.

They're hand in hand really aren't they. Microplastics are hurting biodiversity which exacerbates climate issues. The food and human health impacts are symptoms of that and our changing climate. It's all one big horrible cycle.

Finished watching Mo on Netflix the other day. Really enjoyable, comedic look at the life of an immigrant in the US. Insightful, at time emotional but also broadly really warm. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cyvemz7gmgzo

I'm going to a stag in Marrakech (I'm not sure why either) in May. Not sure my experience will be as interesting as yours have been @jgtuk @FoxesDeb

I wasn't aware he had bet on himself. Obviously that should be heavily punished. That said, my point really is just that it's all pretty hypocritical.
-
I know that players betting restrictions is about the integrity of the game, but there is a certain irony how big of an issue they are making of this, set against the backdrop of betting adverts plastered over kits, stadiums and our TV screens.

Rodger’s vs the board (chicken vs egg)
ajthefox replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
I hold no animosity for any past players or managers but Rodgers is somewhat of an exception. He is a rotten fvxking egg. What he was saying the entire relegation season for me is almost as bad as his insistence on playing Ward and not playing Cags. He didn't give a shit about what was happening to the club. -
Someone has used Otter AI in a few of ours and it seemed to kick out a decent set of minutes. Not sure what it's like to use.

Would love to see the post-game analysis from Carragher and Neville...

Surely that can't be right. That would have the cumulative total of the three teams 20 odd years ago being 140 points extra between them compared to now, when it is circa 60/70 already. That would put them on average nearly 70 points.
