Hope we are going to have a Spurs type reaction soon. This is a struggle yet again. Not as bad, but we can't seem to keep the ball and Fulham keep coming back at us.
-
If we had signed Szmodics, we would have won the league. Shame.
-
Why do we struggle to keep the ball so much? Purely down to a lack of quality at this level?
-
That is what his agent is for. We can't have it all our way, especially with the time frame and our desperate need for players. 4 years is better than 3!
-
He is very poor defensively though, so I don't see him even being much use as a wall. I'd prefer Hamza and his energy to help see out games rather than Soumare who looks like he runs through treacle to ever track back.
-
I thought he looked decent last season, but he likely isn't impressing during the week, as this is Enzo and now Cooper essentially overlooking him, even when we are short of strikers.
-
No chance. Not that we couldn't get him, but we have seen this before. We just being played. Ayew and done

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

One for the future -
Ayew is the best you turnip!
-
Similar was said about Ryan Bertrand who was 2 years younger. I am not actually against this signing, but do think there are more potential downsides to up. No doubt he was down our list of choices and is costing us more than we want to pay.
-
Ayew was likely identified early but was our 4th or 5th choice. We are now desperate and so Palace put us over a barrel with the price. I think he will be a useful addition and contribute, but yet again, we have overpaid and had to settle on our 4th/5th choice. You just have to hope that we pull something out the hat with two more coming in, with clubs like Chelsea suddenly having to push players out. It has been a very disappointing window so far, and of all seasons, we really needed a surprisingly good one.
-
New name! It has been so long

Cooper putting Soumare on was a bit of a red flag for me. Weird decision for a number of reasons. Hopefully, a one off.
-
He is the perfect example of a player that can perform well in a slower paced league, but is completely inadequate in the fast paced Premier League. Awful signing.

To get that 2nd half performance from those players, was pretty damn impressive from Cooper. Add some quality to that fight and desire, and we may just have a chance of staying up! -

We gave Spurs far too much respect in the first 55minutes. As soon as we scored, we realised that we can match them, and we did just that! Great confidence booster for the players. We will still be battling regulation all season, but I loved seeing that fight and desire from the players. -
100% this. We could be 3-0 down and there could be no complaints after that performance. Lucky to still have a chance to get back in the game after that 45minutes. Biggest concern, I just don't see how we can get better with this squad. We are a Championship team.
-
As expected.
-
He is a decent player. I think fans will take to him a bit like they have with Winks. Very hard worker and a top professional. Overpriced, but he is a great age and will hopefully become and important player for us over the next few seasons. We need a few more at least though.
-
Impressed me on the handful of occasions I watched him. I imagine the £20million will be due to add-ons. We need a handful more at least, but reasonably happy with this one.
-
Too good to be true this one. He will go to West Ham or similar. I refuse to get excited.
-
Very likeable player, but can't help feel that the Championship is his limit. Hope he proves me wrong, but I'd take the cash now if enough is on offer.

Positives on the impending Cooper appointment
STUHILL replied to CrazyKopCorner's topic in Leicester City Forum
Who’s that? Never seen him before in my life. -
Not seeing the appeal of bashing Enzo. Just started his Management career and did exactly what was asked of him, despite a very strong Southampton, Leeds and Ipswich. Good luck to him! I think he will do well at Chelsea and get them finishing 4th.
-
The key strength is the fact he has been in a relegation battle very recently and succeeded. That is exactly what we will need this season with the points deduction. A few battling performances early on, and I can see him getting a lot of the fanbase on board.
