Well, that's just gainsaying. But yes.

For those that listen to and enjoy The Country Music Show on BBC R", Thursdays, Bob has been absent for a few weeks and Darius Rucker is his stand in. (Poor, BTW) Apparently his prostate cancer has spread to his upper spine and is causing him a lot of pain to the point where can't manage to broadcast his show, even from home. Hope he recovers as for me, he has been a big part of my music listening over many years, from The Old Grey Whistle Test to Country to Country and the Long Road country music festival that takes place at Stanford Hall and is becoming more recognised.

And this is why voting so difficult. There's no single stand out party that you would trust to deliver what you hope they would. based on your own experiences, family background, hopes, work lifestyle and so many other factors. No single party can be all the things that meet your expectations. You have to balance the probabilities that the party you choose will come closest to your expectations but they are all so vague, with so much rhetoric and spiel they want us to latch on to. I hate to say it, and I didn't vote for her but, Thatcher did exactly what she said she would do. It wasn't pleasant and has had huge repercussions for years. But there were no grey areas. At least we knew where we stood and could base our choices on what we thought and experienced because of her Conservative party and her leadership. FWIW I think she was a horrible person. But we knew what was black and what was white with her. Not the same can be said of the current crop of chancers, in all parties.

The three four, that have resigned apart from Jess Phillips, are junior, low profile and probably have better things to do.

Something needs to be done about this repeated fouling, holding and blocking of players in the 6 yard box. If someone grabs a player and holds them back in open play, it's a foul and potentially a booking. Why is it allowed in front of goal?

Clattenburg is an egotistical twat. I wouldn't give him the breath to revive him. He'll say whatever gives him headlines.
-
Not the PL or EFL though is it. That's no proof in any way.
-
But what you're claiming, rhetorically and without proof is meaningless. It's just your opinion.
-
I couldn't afford a PS5 until I was 65.
-
I don't understand the conspiracy theorists that claim bias or cheating by the refs or the FA and PL. Give me proof. Otherwise it's meaningless rubbish that the armchair warriors will claim to be fact.
-
I hate them fwiw. I'm just stating facts. You can't deny a decision just because you don't want it to be right.
-
Yes, because there was. Jeez. What are you on?
-
Utter crap.
-
The decision to do whatever Raya chose to do in that situation makes no difference to the outcome.
-
I don't like it anymore than you, but it's a foul on Raya first if you watch the VAR footage.
-
The foul on Raya happened before that.

Well, he is an Arsenal striker. What did you expect? It's like thinking the Birch wouldn't favour us in his comments.

Been poor all game

So glad I'm retired and out of this minefield. I cant imagine how stressful and difficult it must be for our young graduates, or anybody trying to find a job that isn't Deliveroo, JustEat etc or McDonalds. It was difficult back in the day when I was out of work and I had to do some "course" in order to claim the "unemployment benefit". The trouble was, the courses never led to employment. In my case, sewing machine repair and maintenance. Utterly pointless. Even though I learnt how to file a block of iron into a perfect cube. I've used that skill.... never.

Just watched the tribute to DA. What a joy.

He's 20 years older than The Birch BTW.

What if... would have been memorable.

I give you... PPE. The prime example of ripping off.

It's a procurement thing. Neither the NHS nor the council can go to Mark's Electricals for example and buy a fridge. It has to be done through the identified suppliers. I'm not saying it's right, just that's the way it is. Although if they bought from Mark's Electricals it might go some way to getting that building project on the old Grey Lady site finished. What an eyesore that has become.
