It’s also a trend to knock managers that were previously crow’d about on here as being a top manager because their current job isn’t going so well. In the case of Frank surely if he wasn’t a good manager it would show up when he didn’t have funds and players like he currently has at his disposal. I still feel to much emphasis is put on managers in winning/losing games being all down to them, I even have some sympathy for Marti as 9/10 goals conceded were errors of a player not formation, Marti’s issues were his in game management & subs not a players inability to kick a ball or make a tackle.

There is plenty of talent there but short of confidence and when things are going against you it’s bloody hard to fight out of it. With a full year under Tandy they will be in better position next 6N & going into WC

Was never getting an result against Man U who are the inform team currently. Takeaways are we let it to 1 for so long, their 2nd was always going to come only because we pushed to try and nic a point. Just looking at them as individual players they are so far behind the top teams and will sit in the bottom 3 every season for a while yet. No current talented player in woman’s football will join anyone outside the top 4, after that wages will dictate where they go before those bottom 3 teams get a look in. Best we can hope for currently is to pick up a few players on their way down/out like Williams & Neville who can create a culture which can be built on. Realistic expectations for fans is to finish 10th and over the next few seasons 9th then 8th, I think anyone thinking this team will push for cups and wins against the top 4, 5 & 6th placed clubs are setting themselves up to be disappointed sadly.

The whole thing is an utter joke, how is ramming doors open with a van to gain entry and threatening staff by swinging sledgehammers at them along with whipping them not classed as “aggravated”, could someone do this to 1 of us in our homes & walk away? How can someone fracture someone’s / anyone’s back with a sledgehammer let alone a PC carrying out her duty in arresting someone with an excuse of, well we thought our friend was being seriously injured..’ so they smashed the PC in the back with a sledgehammer, how many more will be let off assaulting the Police whilst carrying out arrests, no wonder we are struggling to fill roles in the police force. I certainly wouldn’t encourage anyone to join, we’ve seen with the Manchester debacle & now this along with the multiple events we see on programs like Police Code Zero that despite video evidence of police being assaulted the ‘puppy’ sitting next to a pile of poo walks away scot-free, why would anyone put themselves through it with no protection.

Is he someone you would really have liked to see staying with us beyond the summer? Coventry have an obligation to buy (if promoted) they might even have agreed to start him as part of the deal given he's still contracted with Brentford up to summer 2027 & therefore they would want him in the shop window. Given Coventry have agreed the obligation they will most likely use him as a starter, is he head & shoulders better above what they have or is he just there as competition & older head. We have signed Aribo for the final few mths of his contract with no obligations, we will use him as back up until the likes of James, Ramsey return & these kids from Man C / Chelsea show they have it & we will let him walk way in 17 games time & then look to pay for someone who we do see as a starter for next season, like James. I'd rather that then be saddled with another soon to be 30yr (after next season starts) who won't be a starter for us.
