That’s how I saw it also & had Ayew gone to the ball we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Also and like you not to defend but merely highlight something, Justin has had 3 times the amount of touches in opposition box than Bilal for instance, I get Bilal hasn’t played as many minutes but not 3 times less so JJ is being asked to do a lot more than just be a RB and he has no cover infront of him. He is also the player that has played the most minutes in the squad & probably does need a break, VK is next most incidentally.
-
Yep a collective effort there with Faes also allowing Bailey to run through unopposed. 1st goal Vestergaard pass to Barkley your right the lot need binning
-
Why was Ayew trying to shield the ball on the wrong side of their player who cuts in front of him leaving him in no man’s land…not a great pass but Ayew should have went towards the ball and not wait for it
-
We need players who have a vested interest in Leicester City & will put their head, leg in where it probably shouldn’t go & not someone who talks the talk is what I refer to.

@Super_horns @StanSP that’s what I mean I’m sure this forum told me that.

This is a great opportunity for Lydia to be a pioneer in a brand new league, hope she does well. Have/are any of our Canadian Fox’s picked/picking a team to follow, going to need deep pockets & what a nightmare to travel to Vancouver for a midweek away game 😂 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c3rq0zry5njo

Said before in this window we should ideally only be securing loans for our forward positions & currently that’s only the RW as cover for Fats no point dropping an inflated £30m on someone who then stifles Fats progression once fit or themselves dropped to the bench. We then only need to be buying a CB & RB as there are no Huth type defensive players around to loan anymore, we need players that will run through walls to keep the club up not someone looking to put themselves in the shop window for 5mths without a real care what happens to the club. Everything else will need to wait until the summer otherwise we are just stacking players, unless of course an exceptional opportunity presents itself, but very much doubt that will happen in a January window.

I’m sure I read on FT that Kasper left us and Tierney wouldn’t sign for us because of their dislike of Rodgers or did Imagine that?

Can you stop burner phones & by virtue of them being people smugglers I’m not sure taking away a passport (if they have 1) will stop them using ‘their own’ routes in/out of the country. It’s a bit of a nothing deterrent & statement
-
Suspected people smugglers will face travel bans, social media blackouts and phone restrictions under new laws, the government has announced. & if that don’t work they still got the naughty step & being sent to bed without any dinner up their sleeve 😂
-
Send OE back then try & loan McAtee who can cover the RW, AM & CM positions leaving any funds to get in perm defensive starters.

Officials confirm they made an error in awarding Quins 4th try and should have been chalked off for a forward pass

This report kinda suggests he’s not Billy big bolloxs whilst also highlighting what my post suggested in that Plymouth is a basket case of a job, smallest squad, budget and crippled with injuries to his best players. I think any manager would struggle to keep them in the championship tbh & again as my post alluded to he fell foul of trying to get a progressive tune out of a limited club. I stick by why do people have to hate just because he’s a name. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c24ny6m2741o -
Carry On..Follow that Camel on ITV3 currently and I’m sure Carry on Doctor was on earlier

Looking forward to the next thing I can’t say, do or go because it will offend someone 🙄

Why the glee in seeing Rooney sacked, why do we mock the likes of him, Gerrard, Lampard, Rosenior etc just because in our heads we see elite players daring to go into management thinking they will be a success just because of their name…I bet they don’t think it. Taking Rooney, Plymouth are a basket case of a club other than a good season 22/23 getting promotion to the championship they will struggle with relegation (in the main) in what ever league they have been in & were a Lge 2 side as recent as the 19/20 season. The thing with those names is they almost need to go to attractive clubs, but again how dare they think they can manage an established club or they have only got the gig because of their name. But footballs changed as has fan’s expectations of what they want from their Saturday afternoon, they want to be entertained & these names fall foul of this in trying to set up their teams to play whereby the old regurgitated names will play a low block hoof ball and think well it doesn’t matter it’s Plymouth what do people expect. These guys are 4yrs into management cutting their teeth, learning about themselves and the job as they go but on the outside with a haa you have bounced from job to job failing with shitty little clubs just give up. No wonder this article came out the other day about English managers with ex-LCFC’s Micheal Appleton, because we hound them out before they can actually grow. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ckgxyp2z8jeo -
I’d say RVN hasn’t been here long enough to put any player in the category. Bilal hasn’t become what we saw against Man C ‘because’ of RVN he always had that in him he’s just getting games and more settled within the environment. Surely to go in this category your taking an academy lad from no where breaking into the 1st team or more likely someone who was playing dog-toffee and suddenly becoming 1 of the 1st names on the sheet, so could maybe put Soumare in there but that could also be down to last seasons loan, being a year older and him finally waking up. Not sure I have seen any massive individual changes in only 6 games but yes to an improvement to the overall team structure though.
-
I really can’t see how they have reached a 2 game ban or even if it was 3 and reduced to 2 what mitigating circumstances can he come up with to say why he elbowed a guy in the back of the head when Bentancur gets a 7 game ban for saying what he said & punished within the same week as typing it? Bentancur’s charge carried a 6 to 12 game ban but for assault (weak as it was a street charge of assault) gets you 2 games what’s the bracket 1 to 3 what a joke. There would also be knock-on effects to his actions both on the field with players/staff and off between opposing fans seeing that but again seems to have been overlooked, I thought they wanted hooliganism out of football as much as racism 🤷♂️ I don’t even care about the player or club it’s the principle and now as stated above they have set the bench mark the fools.
-
I’d imagine he’ll start or at least get a good chunk of minutes v QPR but with Ayew back for Villa I’m not sure he’ll make the bench sadly.
-
Not that I can find it but didn’t MotD also show a possession stat that we were the 3rd highest club, behind Liverpool and Chelsea, to have more possession against Man C in a premier league game or something along those lines?

I have this rare ability not found in most football fans to not let things I’m unable to control or benefit from like results or day to day running of a company I don’t own affect me. Now reading a lot of threads I see a lot of our fans are stating “we are no longer a community club” & “I don’t recognise our / my club anymore” so all I’m saying is when you think like that despite most people ‘in’ football or people who have worked for the owners all say “it’s very rare to see owners like Top & family within football (in the + not - view) that have the heart in community” I’d be wary of how much of our club you’d think you’ll be getting back with a faceless conglomerate. This is not to say he doesn’t need to shake the top of tree mind but not sure I’d be calling for his head personally.

I’m reading the latest cost cutting project of Jim Ratcliffe is to cut the Man U charitable foundation, what a guy! He was seen as the white knight to come in and save them and get the club back at the top of the tree, yet all he has done is rip the soul out of one of the biggest clubs in world football. Whilst we have our own “King power out” thread I bet the ex-employers, local businesses and their fan base just might be regretting what they wished for. The other thing that struck me was the fact the multi millionaire dollar business that is Manchester United only gave a little shy of £1m per year to the foundation, firstly cheap barstewards and secondly even worse on the penny pinching if a club like Man U can spend £300k a week on wages but will hit their charity arm to claw back pennies, how much does KP put into local charities and the hospitals per year on a fraction of the budget? I’m not going to say be careful what you wish for but which part of the world do we want our faceless conglomerate new owner to come from, US, China or the Middle East? Yes it might stop the free beer and mince pie everyone takes the p out of but……
