I was very impressed with young Dylan Lawlor for Wales the other night and certainly the type of CB we could use to build on along with Nelson. Not sure he leaves Cardiff just yet especially if promoted but would imagine he’s caught the eye of many clubs.

So is that £50m + change that will show as sales on the 25-26 books + anyone else we can offload by end of June?

Well those investigation plans don’t matter anymore now surely, not to sound all Presidential but “..she was hidden amongst 3.8m PiP claimants but we got her….” & not only did they get her they gave her a 6mth ,suspended for 18mths, prison sentence that will stop anyone else doing it, close the ledger.

Because you mention the aircraft carriers here's another 1st fun fact.. When the RAF/FAA took charge of their new F35-B's they were advised that their was a limitation with bringing the aircraft back to land on the flight deck if it was over a certain weight due to unspent fuel & munitions, & even if under this certain weight everything had to be balanced under wing. So, straight away the Brits looked for a way to combat this operational defect (if you like) & thus the SRVL (Shipborne rolling vertical landing) was born & allowed the F35-B to land with a significantly higher payload. The US Navy & Marine Corp who had at this point already been using the F35-B operationally for over 3yrs before the Brits, would have to dump fuel & munitions prior to landing if over the safe weight limit, literally dumping $m's into the sea as well as the environmental issues. The RAF then trained their US counterparts in this manoeuvre. As they say its not the size that matters its how you use it

I imagine his ankle is quite stiff this morning so hopefully doesn’t say yes to playing the next Welsh game but if still out for our game we now have cover for 10. TBH we weren’t getting the best out of him at 10 partnered with Skipp & Winks so if those 2 play we have 10 cover with Makasa & Ramsey being back fit before we go to Bobby. The issue is we have no real quality sub to come off bench or even start in rotation for Skipp / Winks if JJ is injured.

For a little island that is continually mocked for apparently bringing nothing to the table, especially on here, we don't half knock out a few world firsts...here's another 1 https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/nuclear-fusion-rocket-plasma-pulsar-b2945974.html

Reports suggest a 15% sell on clause is part of the deal -
8 CBs why does he need to look at 8 CBs? 3 LB & 1 RB We have gone from having no LBs to having no RBs, the 3 in the squad & add in Lewis-Skelly, thats 3 strong options & Spence & god forbid anything happens to Kane it'll be the old shoehorn someone in instead of playing Watkins, Toney or even Welbeck

Why are pundits & journo's trying to pin the loss on Kepa & adding sentiment shouldn't come into it. He was the EFL keeper & its not like every other Arsenal player stood up, infact only Saliba got a match rating of 5 the rest were 4 & below but it seems in this world everyone needs a scapegoat.

The graph will look no different next season for either Charlton, Birmingham or Palace there just isn’t enough quality in the pool of female players to make it a competitive league. Look at Spurs in 5th they are in negative goals for with Arsenal in 4th scoring 25 more than them & it obviously gets worse as you go down the league. Charlton currently top of WSL2 & they are only 13 goals to the good, they will be no different to Leicester after that initial burst for being in the top tier wears off.

Well after Enzo for sure as Moyes was busy winning the ECL cup when Rodgers left, although it started the/his down fall at West Ham as their league form suffered which continued into the following season when he eventually left coinciding with Enzo jumping also. On all accounts he turned us down at that time as he had an eye on the Everton job so not much we could do I guess.

Thought we might have lost that with 15mins to play up until the penalty, then for the 4th try that took some balls to keep it on the pitch and a perfect cross field kick by Freddie 💪 A lot of big performances both sides but shout out for Hamish Watson who played like he’s been part of the Tigers set up for a while & to complete the full 80 despite not playing much this season was some effort. 👏

Luke Thomas’s biggest issue is Stephy Mavididi

Some series numbers she has following her compared to the bigger playing stars mentioned. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c2lw1172z1qo Let’s hope she can do something to help the team get 1 over her old club, sadly I fear we know which way this will go but as It’s live on BBC today I’ll give it a watch.

Yep, I really liked ( like him) as a person, pundit and in previous managerial roles but it would seem he’s struggling under the pressure of handling Chelsea which probably is a tough gig. You only have to look at past managers, bar Potter, and see how strong character wise they have been, what just their names brought along with what they have won & where they have been prior to Chelsea & how some of those were tainted by the experience, it was always going to be hard for him. He’s only 41 so plenty of time to grow after his 1yr with Chelsea’s I can’t see him lasting past the summer, not with their board & a lot will just write him off as a laughing stock off the back of this 1 position but like JJ and his dad said about Leicester being a good fit for him, Liam will find a club that he’ll do good things with, it could even be us & I wouldn’t moan about that tbh.

Agree and same, would rather he was paired with Nelson. If I’m an opposition forward I’m onto Okoli as soon as the balls heading to him as he can’t control quick enough he’s just to fumbily (is that a word?) although you can’t fault his commitment to blocks and getting his head in. Nelson is a little more controlled & overall adds more in both boxes and probably benefits a lot more with being paired with a senior head.

How my brain is coping with the chances yesterday. Penalty - The Keeper did well to save it, he guessed the right way and anything other than putting it top bins he would have got to it because he guessed right. Had he dived the other way Daka wins the game for us. Header - He was offside, so on target or not it wouldn’t count.
-
As expected, utter tripe.
-
Probably based on the perception of being a Liverpool player. It’s very much like the praise KDH is currently getting in this thread playing for Everton over Chelsea, if Gakpo played for Bournemouth for instance his stock perception would probably be higher. tbh there aren’t many ‘Liverpool’ players in that current Liverpool side, they have lost a lot of identity.

Keeper goes the other way and he’s a hero
