Think he might be out of their reach especially if he gets 1 more š

I think probably end of the road for Tigers here but you never know, If they do find a way then its either Toulouse or Bristol
-
Unai Emery starting to play up? To openly say they are not title contenders when they could have gone 4pts behind Arsenal & to add they are not even top 5 contenders hmmm is all not rosey with the board š¤Ø
-
I wonder how many decent strikers we can buy for under 2m that have scored 10+ goals and played 25 games this season hmm š¤

Thank you Quins š

Think we need to see out these next 4 months before we start buying a CB as we have 4 (once Harryās back) + any academy lad that might push up in the summer what we donāt want is to buy another and not be able to shift 1 even 2 in the summer. ST we know we need in the summer so yes buy now if available. 2 x FBs but not provide cover for Skipp/JJ seems a bit foolish. We do have Hamza & Aluko to provide cover at FB he just needs to start using Aluko more. Midfield yes Hamza can cover but heās not as good as either in either position so every other week or so weāll be limited, Iād rather we got a loan in to add cover. If we can get a FB (LB) & midfielder with loans then letās do that but not sure we should be buying in a winter window anyone to see us through 4mths just to summer only to look again or find that Aluko & the other JJ on loan could in-fact save us stacking wages.
-
So if we could buy 4 players now youād go for those 4 positions? That midfield is fine but how many times have we heard we look so knackered after 60mins? We canāt keep playing Skipp & JJ constantly in every game which come around every 3-4 days & not expect us to be leggy. If Winks and Soumare both go we need to replace them with at least a loan player who can start now, next season weāll have Braybrooke in, hopefully JJ stays maybe even Cartwright along with Skipp so the 2 6/8 positions will be ok but for this last 4 months we certainly need another body to help in those positions now u less people are happy with Hamza starting in midfield?

And yet a lot were up in arms on either not going in for him or missing out on him to QPR, just as I said everyoneās a risk really
-
Quote from his current manager prior to us being linked āWe saw all the attributes he has. He is strong, he is smart, he moves the right way as a number nine should do, he is fast enough and goes deep and can link play. Heās pretty complete as we want a number nine to be...ā A lot of his 18 goals came through good movement, allowing the Ivorian to finish crosses or latch onto through balls in behind...I wonder if he would have scored 1 or 2 of the 3-4 chances we had in the 1st half yesterday? Truth is any players a risk, we need someone who understands the position could end up being a younger Callum Wilson or are we to wait for another Haaland because there will be 1 but we need someone now.
-
Ok Q the next 15 pages where the forum whips itself into a frenzy about missing out on him because we are so inept and we get repeated āwell I wouldnāt blame him, far to good for us etc etc blah blahā¦ā Heās 21 ripping it up in the championship of course teams will be looking at him but currently he doesnāt make Forestās starting 11 let alone Villaās fcol. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and support/guidance by his dad, Iām sure which ever team he decides on in the summer it will be for playing reasons and not for money or to warm the bench of some team where heāll get cup and the odd league game. I can see him signing for us regardless of us staying in the championship, heās aware heās 21 and his current limitations & will work on them with us and weāll be selling him for a good few quid in a few years time when he does go to a top 6 team when heās good and ready.

Glasner probably going to be sacked today the board are deciding currently. But I said yesterday my take on what/why he said what he said and Glasner confirmed in his proper post match interview He explained: "For me, it feels like, 'oh we have enough points so we won't get relegated and that's fine'. But these players are not happy and satisfied with this. That makes it tough tonight. "If Crystal Palace are fine ending the season like this, with Oliver Glasner, with another manager, I don't know, I don't care but if they are fine with this then okay, they can do it. "If they want to play a more successful season... for me, it feels like, 'when all the players are back, we'll be okay, we'll get 42 points, it's all good' This is why I get annoyed with all the Leicester are poorly run comments when in fact the owner, board, manager and playing staff all said right letās give it a go, thatās taking a risk not bad management, you bet Palace playing staff and fans would have liked to have give it a proper go like we did. Yes within that āriskā there was some bad decision making of course, but a lot brought up in hindsight, and the risk was 10yrs in the making not the past 3yrs, the previous 7yrs contributed to those 3yrs as a byproduct of giving it a go. Most clubs could make a living finishing 17th every season until your squad is so watered down with inexperienced or retiring players because any decent or ambitious player has been sold or got out but š¤·āāļø
-
No doubt it hits his arm but not sure intentional, mitigating circumstances is the other forest player being so close to make you say where can his arm go š¤·āāļø
-
To me it smells of the board saying well youāre not going to be here in the summer why should we spend for youā¦.talk about cut your nose off to spite your face. I get the, your not going to choose/have input on players for us but the higher he can get you is better for you no? + Iām told several times on here how great clubs like Palace are for getting players in that fit their structure not decided by the manager so if thatās the case does it matter who is manager?
-
Dyche should be doing more with this squad
-
Everyone piling in on Thomas but in the 96th minute I saw DeSilva was playing as their LB š
-
I thought if good enough they old enough š¤·āāļø

Whilst Iād love to see Ayew off and maybe Bobby I donāt see any changes sadly. They have a better bench than we do if imagine Marti will wait to see how Frank changes it before he makes changes, I just hope he doesnāt leave it for to long we need to keep the energy up
-
Jakub 0 saves to make but Thomas getting slated yet I see no comments slating the cut back abilities of Mavi, Fats, JJ or Ayew we should be 3 up by now but no letās all pile on Thomas because he played a player on side FFS
-
Well in Thomas
-
Fāing hell Mavi he doesnāt even get a corner from that break
-
No they werenāt seeing JJ celebrating they were running down the steps to get closer to him

Coventry (A) - January 17th 12:30pm - Pre Match Thread
BKLFox replied to ramboacdc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just 3pts separates Cov from Boro and Ipswich seem to be powering up behind in 3rd todayās game for Coventry is massive. We know Frank has been there as a player and will be all ākeep calm continue as we have beenā etc but as a manager when your not actually kicking a ball it will do something to him on the sidelines, it must do, so I expect him to be all over his area today pacing like a tiger and maybe make decisions he wouldnāt normally. As for the players they havenāt been there & will just see 3pts difference, they will come out all guns blazing it will be important we donāt concede in that 1st 10-15mins. But Ooh man if we score 1st or simply keep it level the longer it goes on they will panic and start to make mistakes. Which then brings us to how should we play it, match the urgency they will have at the start, keep compact and just soak up pressure before going for it later in the game, keep compact the whole game & just look for counter attacks, or forget trying to to 2nd guess what they will plan and just play our normal game? I know replies will be sarcastic āweāll be 3 down in 15mins if we play our normal gameā but you get what Iām asking, given we need the points & the wobbly position they now found themselves in after being 10 ahead or what ever it was, how would our armchair managers play it? -
Ooh yeah I get itās a broken industry itās just about pointless at the minute and if voted for I think most of us would vote for that super league so they can all disappear up their own assās š What bugs me is the constant knocking of Leicester city for being so poorly run when really we took a risk, a gamble which didnāt work out. We got an ambitious manager, and people can say what they think of him after the event, but he polished us off, got us believing & got us playing some decent football in those early days but in order to do that we had to twist from the āsafeā model, we kept Youri, Maddison maybe a couple of others when really we should have sold when their stock was through the roof but in doing so we certainly donāt get the 2nd 5th place spot but can see why we did after the 1st. To keep those together we had to start breaking wage caps and as we now know the gamble didnāt pay off. We could easily have been Palace, Brighton, BāMouth but would any one of their fans be going poor Leicester now. If we didnāt have the past 10yrs we have had & just churned out 17th, 15th, 13th, 16th place finishes I wonder what our fans would be whinging about now? Before Iām hammered, I want a change at board level as much as anyone else now, but because everything is done in cycles and itās time that was changed as well as playing staff. Palace could be Leicester if they say right we are going to challenge the man, they can say to Glasner right we want to go for it the brief at the start of the season isnāt to just get 40pts, they could say to Guehi etc look we are getting names in and look at this weeks pay package how about that but they wonāt risk it
-
Why we feeling sorry for Palace? Glasner, Guehi & Mateta are all ambitious & whilst just being in the premier league is ok for some clubs, some managers, players & fans want something more than just existing š¤·āāļø

RVN got himself a gig as a coach for the Dutch national side under Koeman & straight into a World Cup.
