Yup going in Bristol. Should be fab.

Luckily there are no other cities in the world called Coventry, so you can breathe easy. There are quite a few towns though, mostly in the States. According to many esteemed academics, they all are all shitholes, exclusively inhabited by families who are much too close to each other....

On the subject of the Conservatives more widely, I don't see what they think they've got to gain by continuing to pivot to the right. Reform have got this vote pretty much tied up now. They ain't getting these people back. Surely there are more votes they could gain by looking to move more back towards the centre. Lib Dem territory. Feels that they are angling to be a minority partner in a Reform government, which is a sad indictment as to where the greatest election winning machine in our history finds itself these days I suppose.

I feel more for the residents of Handsworth. Imagine if the only white face you saw was Robert Jenrick. Having to see that would make you sick. Just another dog whistle politician, who doesn't actually have any beliefs, but follows his nose to the latest, smelliest extremes of political discourse, in the hope that it gives him a semblance of power. God the standard of the bulk of politicians these days.

Love Doves. One of my fav live bands, having seen them a ridiculous amount of times over the years. Can't bring myself to watch them live however without Jimi, so hopefully he gets to a place again soon where he feels comfortable touring / performing.

I doubt Norwich would go for Martin once they sack the Mandroid. One of the main criticisms of the latter from fans is the soooooo boring horseshoe possession football he is obsessed by. Martin is that on steroids, even taking to one side the local connection.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread

Now I dislike Faes as much as the next man, but for once he did absolutely nothing wrong. He did his job right, it's the officials who didn't, which is all too common in this god forsaken league. It's pure confirmation bias to think anything different. -
Premier League 2025/26 Thread

His progress is amazing. Great kudos to Nige who started his development by initially just getting him to focus on the simple things he was good at "just run and shoot" but most of his growth is down to himself. A real student of the game, when he was injured he'd spend hours watching videos of the great strikers, their techniques etc. Also his shooting drills are insane. There are some cracking videos online of the work he was putting in to this over the last summer whilst everyone else was away on holiday. No accident he can shoot so powerfully from both feet. He is genuinely a lovely, humble, intelligent guy, the sort you just want to succeed. More power to him. -
And that's a whole thread on it's own with our antiquated voting system.
-
Yeah he talks and presents himself very well generally and particularly today. There are great opportunities for the Greens to hoover up a lot more of the left leaning vote over the next few years and grab a very decent haul of seats at the next general election, if they can broaden their appeal slightly beyond the tofu basket weaving metropolitan middle class in certain southern cities beginning with the letter B. And he can also make your tits bigger through hypnotism, so a win win.

Gonna see the Bobby Reid of the 2017/18 Champs season tonight and for the rest of the season. I can feel it in my water.
-
Season over if we don't win this one for definite. I think with only 38 games left afterwards we'll be mathematically relegated. **** this club. In all seriousness it's just trite, clichéd nonsense that actually means nothing.

This is such a big story, going to the very roots of some of the recurring accusations swimming around UKIP, Reform, Brexit etc and this guy is one of the few Farage allies that he has stayed with all the way through this timeline. In any normal country this would be headline news but not here unfortunately it would seem.

Oxford were really good today. Dominated the middle of the pitch which no one has done against Bristol this season and their number 7 was unplayable on the right wing and scored a worldie. Impressed how positive they were even at 2 up. As someone else said elsewhere the Championship this season is gonna be crazy open.
-
I see the club promoting this on their socials this morning. Are they feeling OK?
-
They really are playing some great stuff and scoring a lot of goals. My concern for them however with the way they've transitioned to a more high tempo "Red Bull" type playing style under Struber, is that they will fizzle out as the season progresses. Let's see.
-
Comfortably our best and most important player. However as he's made of Quavers it must be a nightmare for any manager to properly manage his game time. Should play 90 mins every week but we know that's not really possible.
-
Yeah cos they're very much the same thing. Good call out though.
-
The Valhalla eulogising is such a right wing / nationalist Christian trope tbf. Although it could be just cos that Kash Patel is such a weirdo. Odd either way.

Absolutely shocking crime and whatever you think of the victim and his statements re second amendment rights etc, should make no difference from a humane perspective. You debate you don't kill. Feels however that Maga will now politicise this killing for their own ends (see Trump's comments over night) which is just as evil, throwing further fuel on what is already an absolute powder keg in the US at this time. So sad.

How Do We Make the King Power a Fortress Again?
Brizzle Fox replied to Ryanlcfc3's topic in Leicester City Forum
A masterpiece of early 20th century filmmaking, however I would contend not Eisenstein's finest. I personally prefer Strike, in particular for its use of symbolic montage (e.g. workers massacred, cross-cut with animals being slaughtered). Anyway to the original question, I'd say by swapping the family stand with the kop. -
My god I dislike Mr unfunny, king of bantz, man of the people Hollowhead but I totally agree with you. I genuinely don't think he had a chance at City. For me I would consider this question in the context of managers who managed the club when everything was set up for long term success, but ended up applying the reverse midas touch, bringing everything down around them. Therefore for me it's a hard fought contest between Taylor and Rodgers.

I know we really want him to be great but I don't think there is any way we will "regret" loaning him as he was never going to be a regular starter for us.
