Sadly I think you are correct. I know a group of blokes, all in their 50s and 60s, who never miss an away game. They don't get any pleasure out of it and actually acknowledge that it's habit as they've been doing it for so long and have nothing else in their lives. I think we probably have a considerable number of fans who fall into this category, most of whom seemed to get their faces on the telly this evening!

Tbf if muppets like Manning and Harris can work out how to play against us I'd suggest that they wouldn't even need to be this good.

For me it's not the most 'stressful' but more like the most 'I couldn't give a ****' season in my 45 years of following the City. Maybe it's because we've 'completed football'. Maybe it's the abject mismanagement off the pitch, culminating for me in the inactivity in taking so long in getting rid of Rodgers when it was clear for a year or two he was destroying the club. Maybe it's the lack of atmosphere at games (anywhere) anymore, that clubs don't give a shit about the match going fan, that the media only care about the Greedy 6 etc etc etc. Or maybe its the vogue for this modern style of playing (not just us). Slow, monotonous passing for possessions sake.......it's just soooooo boring. Probably a combo of these things and maybe I just don't really like football any more! Anyway up the City I suppose.

Ah away to an awful team who are fighting relegation you say.... Probably play the same team, plying our patented style of walking football. Lots of passing around at the back, followed by one of the back 5 having a brain fart to gift then a goal. That will probably be Sideshow Bob....or maybe one of the other muppets.... although it won't be Coady as he won't play. We'll lose 1 0 but Genius Enzo will be happy as we stuck to the system. Well at least I'll clear up again with the bookies with Plymouth being massively over priced. Small mercies I suppose.

American and ginger. Bound to be rubbish... This season with the useless American ginger playing Norwich had averaged 2.31 pts per game (pre the City match). Without him they'd averaged 1 pt per game. Don't come on here with your stats that don't fit the accepted orthodoxy. Tut tut.

Indeed. Their downturn in form coincided with him being out of the team injured, their upturn in form started when he was back fit again. He's basically kept Wagner in a job. Without him in the team they'd be nowhere near the play offs.

There are threads on several clubs forums about our predicament. Our spectacular fall from grace is genuinely of interest to most fans.
