And the real positive for us is that I imagine he will be working with young players, with a much higher ceiling than most he has worked with in the past. Well Sinclair Armstrong at least who I am yet to be convinced is actually a footballer...

The women's team seem very much an integral part of the club, something that Nige instigated when he was manager of the men's team, as well as the wider Bristol Sport collective including the Bears and the Flyers. Their games are very heavily promoted within Ashton Gate when the men's games are on etc. Also train at the same venue as the men. The club also heavily promote the team at local schools, girls football clubs etc. Also a fair bit of ticket discounting etc, with % off season tickets, matchday tickets for men's season ticket holders etc. Going back to the Bristol Sport ownership umbrella, although this has many issues, in particular when trying to get buyers for the mens football club, it seems to work to the advantage of the women's team, in giving that a sense of oneness with the other Bristol clubs, that maybe we don't see with the Leicester women's team, which rightly or wrongly sometimes feels from a distance, very separate from the men's team.

I endorse this message.

I like the overall design with the vertical stripes but why the two tone pink... Why? Makes no design sense whatsoever. Just odd.

That was very special. -
Buzzing that all my bets are late starters.

There genuinely isn't much between them. Rohl just has better PR. Don't mind either of them. Just don't want one of the old familiar names and want someone who will give the kids a proper chance. The unknown is much more fun.

Tomorrow's bookies favourite. Gerrimin.....

Love the air of mystery about this guy with him being sent on a never explained gardening leave... There is an edge to him. Gerrimin.

Will it though? Really. A free warm pint and a stale doughnut will keep the KP FC masses satiated.
-
Hang on that would mean them paying us shit loads of money rather than the other way around! Won't catch on.

I can't wait for the summer transfer window to open. Really excited to see what players we get linked with.

Good old crafty. With form like this he's a shoe in for a safe Reform seat at the next election.

It is a bit strange you can still get decent odds on it, and people aren't filling their boots. Know a few Wednesday chaps and they're quite blasé about it being a done deal with Powell as his assistant.

Tbh we probably can't afford to pay the car pick up fee. £7 for 10 mins. Daylight robbery.

I'll have to check that one out. Mad also when talking about Aftersun that it was the director's debut feature and also I think the female lead's as well.

Yeah watched this in the cinema when it came out. Genuinely one of the most moving films I've seen in years, with an insanely good chemistry between the 2 leads. Had me blubbing my eyes out.

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")
Brizzle Fox replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
He's a highlights reel player, no more. 90% of the time he is mediocre or worse. Definitely got natural ability but does not possess a scintilla of footballing intelligence, and sadly that is something that cannot be coached. -
I would say more a lack of strategic, long term thinking. As much as Mannings football was soooo boring at least stick with a philosophy for more than one manager. They are run by idiots though, which is certainly a familiar feeling.
-
Yeah doesn't seem to last long anywhere. Moving from a Pep obsessed possession obsessed manager in Manning to a Red Bull alumni is certainly interesting though.

I think the Bristol job is between Edwards and Struber. If City are looking lower leagues someone like Challinor would be a better bet I suspect, but I very much doubt we'll go down that route.
