  1. The worst thing that could happen for us with the current regime in charge would be for us to get promoted again. There's just no point as it would be simply another rinse repeat, with no lessons learnt. Needs a few seasons down to potentially lead to any change happening.
  2. Sunday feeling x1,000,000. Can't wait to watch us get pumped for the 4th time this season by the worst Man U team in living memory. Wonderful.
  3. I thought this was the Unpopular Opinions thread? On the subject of chavs I would add Vaping as a very chav thing (again probably posted in the wrong thread). Yes please blow nauseus, fruit flavoured smoke in my face you losers. At least if you're a proper smoker you can look cool whilst killing yourself.
  4. Really enjoyed the racing this week. Great to see some new names coming through, upsets, chaos and Gordon Elliott having a stinker (shame he won the last yesterday but hey ho). My betting got gradually worse day by day but I'll always have Marine, Jango and most of all The Ace (you beautiful horse). As Bert says. Roll on Aintree!
  5. The Festival is always feast or famine for me. No in between. Done my nut so many times, but this year is very much feast (so far!). 6 winners over the first 2 days including the Champion Hurdle and Champion Chase and 4 ok placed horses. Had some luck but you have to take the rough with the smooth. Don't bet big enough to do hot pots so long may they continue to underperform.
  6. Sadomasochist more like...
  7. Did the Barca one many many years ago and had Ronaldinho walk by me on his way back from training.
  8. Well having watched his side lose again last night, with most of the players looking totally clueless, and Nacho lumbering around up front, I think he'd fit right in here..
  9. Definitely grew into the game second half. He's only going to improve the more game time he gets. The manager obviously trusts him, having worked with him before, and good that he's already worked himself into the starting line up. Positive for him and positive for us. Oh a separate note that Colwill chap for them looks like a very decent prospect.
  10. My god is Ginnetta still a thing. I swear him and his pals were around when I first started going to the City in the late 70s / early 80s, when they had their little section of misery in the corner of the ground opposite end from the kop. Fair play for his longevity, continuing irrlevance and managing to keep that "chairman" title for all that time though. Build that man a statue.
  11. DAKA'S ON FIRE, TANZANIA ARE TERRIFIED!!!!
  12. Bloody entitled jacket potato fans. Beans and cheese! You should be grateful for just one of these.....or none. We were in Division 1 once don't you know.
  13. Oh yes. Totally agree with that. We don't do comms though...
  14. Shortest rumour in Foxestalk history. Bravo
  15. They see it as lovely comms but a cynical ploy to cover up how much they ****ed up the summer transfer window (again), linked to having a massively under qualified DoF and a disinterested owner, with his Nepo Baby son in a position of too much influence within the club. Oh and how they have managed to exit the Jan window weaker squad wise than when they went into it. Of course the "happy clappers" are lapping it up. Sounds quite familiar....except for the comms bit.
  16. Useless sons of successful fathers. You could be onto something.
  17. Yeah agreed. It's a good (and surprising) approach from the absolute muppets who run that football club, which is basically saying we ain't spent in Jan cos we ****ed up the summer, after getting a lot of noise from the locals over the last few weeks. Many parallels at a budget level to KP FC...
  18. Tbf they could probably only name 8 starters and still win.
  19. Yeah it's an interesting concept. Have enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Added bonus that it has the Danish Prime Minister with her perfect English accent in it as well...
  20. I would have hoped someone would have assuaged his disappointment by reminding him that he's really shit at football. Soild constructive feedback for him.
  21. Well tbf to get a club like Luton promoted gives him a degree of kudos. And he's an absolute dreamboat to boot....
  22. It's a FA Cup game and Man U are playing, so it is a certainty that it's televised.
  23. Well Littlejohn certainly does bearing in mind he lives in the US. Proper patriot.
  24. Every season in the Championship there are 11 teams fighting for promotion, 11 teams fighting against relegation and Preston and Bristol City fighting for 12th place...
