  1. Great goal today which for me more than makes up for all the goals that he has been directly or indirectly responsible for us conceding so far this season. Top player.
  2. Cooper is just beige. There is no depth to him or anything of interest about him. Amazing that only 20 male humans in this big bad world of ours can ever be Premier League managers at any single point in time, and he's one of them... And has been twice. That's some black magic, voodoo shit there.
  3. Would have been double figures if he wasn't in goal today. Some sensational saves.
  4. I'm 53 and only started yoga 18 months ago even though my brother in law is a yoga teacher! In the main started for the mental health benefits....I have quite a stressful corporate job and also have been through traumatic times with ill and dieing elderly parents over the last couple of years, and suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Try and do classes once or twice a week and it has really helped me both mentally and physically.
  5. You get that line out of a fortune cookie. It's a cracker. Anyway in all seriousness I'd be happy to be proved wrong about Cooper, however I see nothing in his Prem League management career to indicate that I will be. 19 games and counting since his last Prem win is a chastening stat for even his biggest fan.
  6. Loss of course but won't be Cooper's fault.
  7. Whose fault it is Steve is a moot point. Ultimately it's the manager who takes the responsibility for the errors that the personnel he picks make. That's kinda how football and most businesses work. That hard to understand?
  8. As someone else said you're either being purposely obtuse or a bit thick. Could be both though.
  9. Yes he did. Took matters into his own hands. Nothing to do with Cooper.
  10. Err he brought Coady on and also thought he was worthy of a place in the match day squad over Vesty. The guy is out of his depth and only got the gig cos no other ****er wanted it with the points deduction hanging over our heads. That situation has now changed so let's cut our cloth accordingly and move on from this poverty appointment.
  11. Can we have a proper manager now please. This Cooper experiment ain't too great.
  12. Couple of mid afternoon Ayingers in the sunshine and now I've just realised they have Titantic Plum Porter on tap. That's pudding sorted.
  13. 3 - 1 Palace. They are much better than their early season form would suggest and this is where they kick start their season.
  14. Yup. It should be leading on all of the sports news today but of course barely features. Added bonus of Surrey losing of course which is always nice.
  15. Reading about this case it feels more like a case of her legal team not doing a particularly good job (e.g. no expert witnesses called despite being available) than her actually being innocent. Probably worthy of discussion because of its public interest and some interesting reasoned analysis in publications such as Private Eye etc. However as ever as pointed out elsewhere, it does seem to have become another vehicle for various nutjob conspiracy theorists to hop onto unfortunately, which must exacerbate the pain for the victims families.
  16. Draw against Bournemouth after losing the other 3.
  17. Less or no bonemeal in most commercially sold dog food these days innit. Once had a very long conversation about this on a very long train journey from Liverpool Street station to Norwich. Top lads football day out that one...
  18. Not really. He was captain last season and one of Pearson's other signings has been made captain this season. However with it known that Bird was coming in from Derby during the summer and aspiration overall to bring the age down of the squad with a view to future player saleability, it was him or Joe Williams for the more elder statesman contract extension.
  19. All down to the wage bill really and the length of contract he would have wanted. Never let Bristol City down though.
  20. Looking at how much rubbish there is in this league I think our squad is genuinely good enough to stay up. However I don't think our coward of a manager is good enough to use that squad effectively to keep us up.
  21. So Alves can't even get onto a 9 man bench. Defies comprehension that we didn't sort him out a loan out.
  22. Smacks of Rudkin reading Foxestalk on the last evening of the transfer window, suddenly clicking that we need a striker as we only have one fit one who is about 40 years old and realising it's a useless Chelsea spare or this twat. Welcome Edouard you beautiful man. You get those 5 goals that will make the difference.
  23. It's also a Championship team where he'll likely start every week. He goes to a better Championship team, he sits on the bench. Good move for him and us.
  24. Wow the ex Minister for "Common Sense" is very special indeed.... This is of course not offensive at all. Stick to doing Cilla Black impressions you extremely unserious woman.
  25. Tanner has zero insight into City these days, if he ever did, so would take this with a rather large pinch of salt.
