I can believe Winks, Soumane and Daka as their wages last season but no idea if those will have reduced this year or not.

It’s widely reported that many players have wage reductions of 35% and up to 50% in their contracts. i’m assuming this covers all signings over the last two years plus contract renewals. For reference any player on £60k a 35% wage cut implies a salary of £39k. Based on this my list of high earners likely without wage reductions is: Ricardo Faes Justin (but assuming his Prem wage was reasonable) Kristiansen Soumane Daka Winks (if his contract didn’t have a relegation clause - I.e he is on less now than when he signed for us). Hamza and Vesty both signed new contracts in the last couple of years

All depends on attitude - didn’t like the ‘we miss you Enzo’ sign. On the fence with the staying at the training ground seems like him and Ruud were both unreasonable on that. Would much rather Soumane left on loan. happy for Winks to see out his contract - I’m not sure he’ll do better than us at the end of it but depends if he wants to play or fill a squad place.

Personally I’d rather Kristiansen (wages) and Woyo (no idea if he is any good) went. Ricardo, Thomas, Aluko, Hamza. Short on the left hand side of anything. If we have any faith in Aluko then cash in on Justin.

He’s a really really good keeper but still needs to prove it in the Prem and his injury history has to be a bit of a worry. Thought we might get £25m but a combination of so many keepers on the market and us going down has dented his price. Keen to see how Jacub develops going into the season as our number 1

Says a lot about Winks, Vesty, Faes, Skipp even Ayew that no one is really considering them as captian material. Skipp aside they are senior pros

While I do love a good PSR chat, transfer values do also reflect what a player is worth and reducing the wage bill is a real saving, Would be delighted with £2m and him gone. We massively overpaid for him - both transfer value and wages.

I’m still hopeful that by the end of the window compared to last season, we’ll have significantly reduced the net senior squad size. so far: 3 contracts ended, 2 loans ended 1 reserve goalkeeper in on a short contract and Hamza and Souttar back . I’m not counting promoting youth as surely even we are not paying them massive contracts! So minus 2 at present (happy to be corrected). including loans we should be aiming for closer to minus 10 (1 gk, 3 defenders, 2 CM, 2 wingers). I’d be happy with just a CM and a new striker in once we’ve trimmed the squad.

We’ve realised we are bad at selling players, signing players and offering new contracts. The obvious solution is to done none of it. #Rukdin is listening

All comes down to wages for me (he did sign his new contract when we were in the Championship so hopefully not completely mental wages). Fine as a back up player for various positions and to bring off the bench to help close games out. Skipp, Winks, Hamza + one other assuming Ndiddi and Soumane go.

He’s due a good season, new 5-year contract on inflated wages and then back to offering very little. it’s the Leicester way,

Justin is fine but isn’t the same player as a few years ago. We have a collection of okay but not spectacular full backs (Ricky P aside). So not bothered who goes to slim down the squad.

Start him in the championship, West Ham or some other team will buy him for a decent amount near the end of the window. Same with Bilal. Don’t sell out saleable assets who are probably on reasonable salaries for cheap. Faes, Coady, Vesty, Soumane, Kristiansen, BDR - take what you can get for them and move on.

It’ll be like when all the players were at Vardy’s for the Chelsea game. scenes when the sky sports banner comes along with ‘’Forest set to sign danish international Kristiansen’. Get the Captain Morgan rum out.

Ricky P for me although that will only cover about 10 of our games as he’ll get injured! if the new manager rates Coady or Skipp then I could see it being either of them.

I’d say it’s less about Wasserman who are doing their job and getting players in front of clubs and more about us not cultivating good relationships with all of the big agents. it’s basic client / intermediary relationship management.

There is the Daka drag factor. XG created 400, goals scored 3!

The squad wasn’t good enough but he was worse than Cooper. He doesn’t really have much of a managerial record so it’s not clear to me that RVN gets a job offer from a top club. He needs to drop down and actually spend a period building a team and learning how to manage.

As much as I love an accounting discussion, it’ll be nice to see us actually generate a good fee for a player. who knows we can but dream we spend money wisely next. bilal will be better with better players around him.

Think he can sort out the entitled mentally at the club and will play more direct football. My fear is whether he’ll trust youth. overall I’d be fine with his appointment.

At least it signals to stolarczy that he is number one (and should be). if he is cheap and it’s a 1-year contract then this is fine.

You’d need to have extreme confidence in at least two from Monga, Evans and Alves to let Stephy go. McAteer isn’t as bad as some make out but doesn’t have the same level of flair or excitement.
